Due to have it's mot this week,

Lots of history over it's 314,000 miles.

Its the 1.9tdi and looks best from a distance.

Rear wiper doesn't work, nor does the aircon.

That will be on its way to Romania by Friday if you stick in on Gumtree.

Damn straight and the engine pulled out of it and advertised as a 110k mile engine on ebay....

GLWTS.  As the owner of a VAG 1.9 TDI, I can attest that the PD is a damn, damn nice engine.  Really easy to service, too.

The rear wiper motors on VAG cars of this era are weird, the washer fluid line is the motor spindle so if you get a leak in the end (apparently a common fault), it floods and ruins the washer motor because the fluid line runs through it.  Relatively easy replacement and new/second hand are easily available.  Took me half an hour to change mine and it wasn't difficult at all.  Just let the boot rear card dry out a bit as it's likely saturated with screenwash.

That's worn its miles well.  My Dad had an '06 A4 for years and it's the nicest car he's ever owned.  Just a lovely place to be.
