I don't think Victoria ever left then. How the bloody hell anyone can find the pouty faced silly bint attractive is utterly beyond me.

I don't know how the ladies say no to a 23 year old 19 stone Peugeot 405 owner with unkempt hair, but they do.

Something has brightened up my evening considerably, so I will share it with my Autoshite "buddies" and we can get off to a good 2010.Out of the blue, I got a phone call from a cousin inviting me to have a drink with him a local pub. Whilst he's under the influence of alcohol I find him a bit of a pain, as he clearly can't hold his drink and starts bothering people that he doesn't even know. In the interests of peacekeeping, I decided to go, but with the caveat that I'd be leaving before midnight to go home. Now, I've never considered myself to be the best around "the ladies", mainly due to a strange sense of humour and the fact that I drive around in beige cars all day. But whilst in his company, I saw the most pathetic attempts at attracting female attention that I went home feeling like Giacomo Casanova. It had to be seen to be believed - rudely intruding on the conversations of people he didn't know, giving cigarettes to three different birds (who abandoned him as soon as they'd finished their smoke) and some of the most pathetic attempts at teasing that I'd ever seen. Some lass drops her phone and he goes "Hur hur, it's turned off now!" and she just stares blankly at him and goes away. He received nothing but contempt for his efforts, with me being the observer of the trainwrecks he generated. In the end, I straightened up my lapels and went off home feeling like a king. Also I didn't try to chat up any birds there because it was a slightly rough pub on a council estate. None of them were very nice. Just thought I'd add that in there.

Hirst, if you are going to frequent council estate pubs on NYE, surely it is impossible to leave without getting noshed off by some slapper kneeling in the piss in the gents. It is the law.

Posted

I just held it to be honest, it wasn't worth the risk.

Yesterday this...

...made me happy again. Got it a while back in some sort of deal or other and, it owes me naff all and despite the fact it's had a very hard life it still does a blinding job.

Like the seats in the Kia yesterday. The passenger one was actually far, far worse then the driver's one so armed with my trusty machine, hot water and some Brown Brothers supplied interior cleaner I got cracking...

Half way there now with passenger seat done...

And the end result?

Carpet came up a bit cleaner after I'd taken this picture...

Well happy with the results, also transformed my daily Astra not so long back with similar, if not better, results.

Posted

Wow, thats highly impressive. What sort of machine is it? Some sort of steam cleaner?

Posted

Karcher interior cleaner type thing. I just lob some hot water in, add cleaner and off to go. Has a spray bar thing for the water/cleaner and a very powerful vac cleaner to suck it up at the same time or L8ERZ.Stubborn stains take a while to shift but most of them go eventually and the colour of the water in the waste tank afterwards show how well it's done.Trial and error getting the right mix of water and cleaner but the Brwon Brothers stuff is bloody good to be fair. Can be used with cold water too but doubt the results would be as good to be honest.Shame I didn't do a 'before and after' on a Punto I had a while back. It was absolutely minging and looked like a collection of tramps had been living in it. Once I'd spent a couple of hours on it the seats and carpet came up like brand new.
