dollywobbler Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Saab Sonnet innit? Point of order on the Steyr-Puch Haflinger. Having got told off in my first Invacar video, I thought it was pronounced Puck - perhaps Junkman can umpire on that one?
Pillock Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Well we also had Days-Ear for "Datcha", so.....
dollywobbler Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Oh well sod it then. It's clearly an enormous fix. You'll be telling me next that he wasn't actually think of an elephant's ear AT ALL. Harumph.
dollywobbler Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Jeepers. How long is this trip to Asda taking?!
Bucketeer Posted December 30, 2017 Author Posted December 30, 2017 Either I took massive offence at all the quiz criticism and spent all night sobbing into my pillow, or I was driving 250 miles south last night. If I don't get round to doing the results today then EVERYONE gets a prize. That's a promise/threat. chaseracer and For Fiats Sake 2
chaseracer Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Can you get milk and a small sliced brown, please? Ta muchly.
The Moog Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Ermm... This isn't a quiz with out a drunky left handed picture drawing. Unless you are going to do a special welcome to 2018 quiz only featuring them. Drawn on NYE. chaseracer 1
Bucketeer Posted December 30, 2017 Author Posted December 30, 2017 The results have been verified and checked, Norris McWhirter is satisfied, a winner has won. BTW I measured the height of the SAAB in hands. It was about 11.8. Mrs6C could tell you the figure to about 5 decimal places. I suspect she might have been outside to measure their similar car.Whilst Mrs6C (with unconfirmed reports of help/hindrance from Mr6C) was at one end of the spectrum, others made less effort to give the correct answers, which was entertaining for me. Thanks everyone for taking part. 16 - Mrs6C14 - 320touring13 - Dollywobbler, Mercrocker, Supernaut12 - Chodweaver11 - Sandie, Dave Q, Catsinthewelder, Keymaster, Somewhatfoolish10.5 - ForFiatsSake10 - drunk Pillock9 - Chaseracer5 - 3vom, Hairnet (who only answered the first 10 questions, must have been in a hurry)2 - Carlosfandango (who takes the traditional 'Chaseracer Position' for this quiz. Congrats) The prize will be winging it's way to Mrs6C as soon as I decide exactly what it is, and for a noble second place 320touring will recieve a free ticket to a forthcoming roffle I will be hosting. Whether he wants it or not. Mrs6C, dollywobbler, Supernaut and 4 others 7

Ghosty Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 I thought it was pronounced Puck I've had someone tell me that regarding the bike I got off catsinthewelder too.
Pillock Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Was I drunk?I don't remember being drunk.Perhaps I was drunk. Mind you, I've had half a bottle of very nice gin tonight so there's lots of things I don't remember. Edit: oh yeah, the giveaway was starting the message with "I've had a drink". Importantly, drunk Pillock is clevererer than Chaseracer. chaseracer, dollywobbler and The Moog 3
dollywobbler Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Well done Mrs 6Cyl! Turns out my guess on the Saab was quite a bit out. I probably should have thought about that a bit longer. Did I say 46? Maybe I thought you had hands like Trump... Mrs6C 1

Maybe I thought you had hands like Trump...A "hand" is 4" if you are measuring a horse. How it is done on Autoshite may be another matter.
Bucketeer Posted December 31, 2017 Author Posted December 31, 2017 I did specify my hands, and my hands are 4.5". Big hands, big stringback driving gloves. The Moog 1
