Will you be at FoTU with the van, though? I'll be getting a flight down to Birmingham and staying with RantingYoof in order to go to the FoTU. My geography of England is terrible, BTW, so I've no idea how near or far you are in relation to FoTU.

I really want to go to the FoTU but typically it's the same weekend as the Marina Nationals in Devon which I'm doing so I can't make it

I'll be heading up from Glasgow in the mid afternoon on Friday if anybody fancies meeting up for a 60mph convoy. If not I'll be the chap in the blue Triumph Acclaim heading in a northerly direction.

 

Topped up the Triumph's vital fluids and gave it a bit of a wash, much excite.

For those heading from the South, ie most, as you enter Dundee from Perth at the first set of lights there is a big ASDA on the left which has the cheapest fuel about (typically 0.1p a litre cheaper than the rest ), then there is a HUGE Tesco about a mile further along on the right (plenty of islands to turn to get to it etc) then as you say just after turning on the Forfar (or Aberdeen) road at the first lights there is a large Morrisons on the right. Spoiled for choice!

Can also swap batteries en route if they fit too and it's needed, mine charges up fine

Regrettably I am going to pull out of this. I haven't been well since Tuesday and can't rely on being fit enough to drive up there without problems. I need to meet up with Beko at some point so I will PM him and Ghosty to try to make arrangements.

26 degrees and bright sunshine here! Bit warm for changing tyres, 3 done 1 to go. For a friends Merc, I have been promising to do them for 2 weeks, and he goes to Australia Saturday so I need to pull my finger out....
