Yes - I personally would pay £354 for a biodiesel "Getting fairly rare" motor with more than 6 months MOT, new front discs and pads, new back box, and which can be classic insured for about £200 a year. Not being snippy, but I genuinely think you could pay a lot more and do far, far worse!

 

And the reality to be fair is that the dosh is all going to provide the funds to save the "Autoshite legend" that is Mouseflake's old Renault 30. True, not all would see that as a good cause, but some certainly do. No reason that people should help me save a car that belongs to me, so I will make this promise: anybody who buys a ticket can have a chauffeured ride in the R30 if and when I manage to get through all it's problems.
