somewhatfoolish Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 06 Alto with knackered osf suspension, the strut and lower arm have failed catastrophically(through corrosion; mercifully at low speed) and the owner has bought another shiter to keep mobile; the person who was coming to take it away has failed to do so several times and it's taking up space. Offers of smol cash are likely to be well received as long as you come equipped to take it away there and then. Located in the blasted wasteland of Rosneath, G84.
Eddie Honda Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 Rosneath Er, naw. I'd get a nosebleed past Cylinder[sic] M'coli and somewhatfoolish 2
M'coli Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 I get a nosebleed these days past Dalreoch, never mind that far round... Eddie Honda 1
somewhatfoolish Posted June 20, 2017 Author Posted June 20, 2017 Technically it's probably in Clynder, but it's just a slightly better class of squalor on the north side of the fence so I don't differentiate.
Eddie Honda Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 the person who was coming to take it away has failed to do so several times and it's taking up space. Just roll it into the Gareloch in the middle of the night. Job jobbed. M'coli and somewhatfoolish 2
M'coli Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 Just roll it into the Gareloch in the middle of the night. Job jobbed. It wasn't rolled, it was the backend that came around but it didn't hit anything, and it was the Loch Long road anyway... GLWTS Eddie Honda 1
somewhatfoolish Posted June 20, 2017 Author Posted June 20, 2017 I'd need to strike up the sparkly stick and bodge Fred's dismogrified suspension components back together with pigeon poo to do that as rolling is one thing it isn't doing; if I did that I'd double its value to at least £50.
Matt Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 The suspension and wheels on these do seem to rust and flake quite spectacularly for some reason.
Eddie Honda Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 Perhaps an angle grinder to cut it up into smol pieces and bag it up. Leave it down the beach when it's low tide in the middle of the night. Blame the neighbours o'er the watter.
