It shows, too, the climate is shit. Spieky and I shall try out new endeavours tonight and report back in due course.

The recent climate would lead to

 

a. royally bogging down in the bog, thus hampering swift getaway

b. any attempt of setting it on fire being literally drowned

c. me being found by archeologists in millenia hence, wondering why the fuck they left me my wallet including bank cards

So after having dinner as the only guests at a semi derelict roadside restaurant - not only were we the only guests,
but we had the impression we were the only guests since a good few days - we went on and found ourselves in an area with not much in it.
 

 
 
We happened upon a derelict round tower.

Nearby was a derelict house.
 

 
And a church, of which the grade of derelictness couldn't be established.
 

 
A nearby village was downright eerily lifeless.

The scenery was astonishingly beautiful, as usual.

I'm getting the same messages, I think sickbucket is trying to exploit money out of Junkman, which is why I use Flickr now as it's 1tb of freeness, with no hosting issues, missed the last couple of days of JM & spikey's exploits because of the sickbucket block

and I ventured on our last Climate Improvement© foray into the green pastures of the Emerald Island.

 

We drove through a town.

 

 

 

 

 

And passed a factory.

And stopped at a petrol station.

The scenery was breathtaking.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tomorrow we shall return to the correct side of the Irish Sea.

We declare the climate improved. There is nothing more for us to do here.

WTF has happened to rural Ireland? Where have all the people gone?

 

My last few trips to visit my brother in Dublin have been short so I haven't really been beyond 10 miles from the city since 2010. Great atmospheric pics of buildings but such a waste. There must be value in these buildings yet they're being left to go to ruin.
