Improving Ireland's Climate MKII - This time with a MKII - Caution: Contains Spikey!

The problem is that most of the time I don't know myself where I'm going next.

Because it's none of my business anyway. Since when am I responsible for what I'm doing?

Tempted to call an Oirish mobile when I'm home, though...

I mustard mitt that The Climate Improvement© has been a bit on the back burner this week (not a good pun, but intended).

It shows, too, the climate is shit. Spieky and I shall try out new endeavours tonight and report back in due course.

Set fire to one of the peat bogs! It'll burn forever ensuring climate improvement over many years.

Posted

The recent climate would lead to

a. royally bogging down in the bog, thus hampering swift getaway

b. any attempt of setting it on fire being literally drowned

c. me being found by archeologists in millenia hence, wondering why the fuck they left me my wallet including bank cards

    when they ceremoniously buried me.

They all were from Franconia, so the worst kind, which prompted

me to parade being Austrian more than usually.

I bet they were Fuehrious.

Imagine my utter shockhorror when we arrived today at the temporary westernmost GGG headquarters and saw this:

At least we got a room with a view.

Spikey enjoyed it, too.

We got us something to read.

And shared a glass of Claret.

and I decided to Improve© The Climate even further.

So after having dinner as the only guests at a semi derelict roadside restaurant - not only were we the only guests,
but we had the impression we were the only guests since a good few days - we went on and found ourselves in an area with not much in it.

post-5710-0-98165500-1498064890_thumb.jpg

We happened upon a derelict round tower.

post-5710-0-26318600-1498064904_thumb.jpg

Sorry for the shit photo, but the tower is indeed round and derelict and not square and derelict.

Nearby was a derelict house.

post-5710-0-94969700-1498064914_thumb.jpg

And a church, of which the grade of derelictness couldn't be established.

post-5710-0-73017400-1498064923_thumb.jpg

A nearby village was downright eerily lifeless.

We came to another village. There were derelict houses.

Then we ran into a man who contrary to me actually can drive.

His name is this.

He also has an old Ford.

But his one is fast, because it has this:

The luggage capacity is rather limited:

What's happening with your picture hosting Junkman?

I've been following your exploits with interest, and no longer can I see your polluting antics!

FYI, it's saying you need to upgrade photobucket to Plus 500 for 3rd party hosting.

Posted

I'm getting the same messages, I think sickbucket is trying to exploit money out of Junkman, which is why I use Flickr now as it's 1tb of freeness, with no hosting issues, missed the last couple of days of JM & spikey's exploits because of the sickbucket block

Posted

So Photobucket took all my pictures hostage for ransom?

Fucking great.

The really interesting bit is that they told me nothing about that.

Posted

Photobucket also block Adblock users from their website which is bollocks.

Posted

I stopped using it years ago due to it's general shiteness, currently got almost 13,000 photos on Flickr with zero problems so far

The recent photos are now viewable, and with the usual level of top quality houses, scenery and Spikey content.

You actually found human life? No wonder sickbucket had a vomit, as it didn't believe that either

Photobucket are a nightmare, gave up with that site a good while back now. I hope you can sort it, looking forward to seeing the hidden pictures.

Tomorrow we shall return to the correct side of the Irish Sea.

We declare the climate improved. There is nothing more for us to do here.

Great pics there Junkman.

WTF has happened to rural Ireland? Where have all the people gone?

My last few trips to visit my brother in Dublin have been short so I haven't really been beyond 10 miles from the city since 2010. Great atmospheric pics of buildings but such a waste. There must be value in these buildings yet they're being left to go to ruin.

^ Whs. London types would have coronaries at the very thought that houses are just left abandoned in large numbers.

Granny looks hot.

This is what capitalism in its terminal state looks like. Kind of a Detroit MkII.

Brace yourselves, the UK is heading this way at lightning speed.

With the only difference being that in Ireland at least no no go areas form,

because its inhabitants are just too friendly.

Thus the Irish are not likely to kick off a placebo war,

which the British inevitably will. Well, they did already.
