Six-cylinder Posted September 7, 2017 Author Posted September 7, 2017 Has he "christened" the toilet yet? I hope not the hole has not been cut yet, we were just positioning the seat! Heidel_Kakao 1
Six-cylinder Posted September 7, 2017 Author Posted September 7, 2017 Is anybody up for fitting seat covers to the LNA? I am very concerned about the seat fabric on the LNA and want too cover it up.These are the only checker covers I could find, I really wanted beige.
beko1987 Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 I can give it a try. Will put a vacuum in the car too if you want it vacuumed out?
Six-cylinder Posted September 7, 2017 Author Posted September 7, 2017 I can give it a try. Will put a vacuum in the car too if you want it vacuumed out? It would be great to get it cleaned out, I think you will be there a week with all the things you have volunteered to do! beko1987 1
beko1987 Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 I have 3 days, challenge accepted! I'll bring car washing stuff, but probably wont aim to fully detail one (unless you really want) as it'll take probably all weekend, and without water for a pressure washer will take ages! Can bring enough for a good wash though! (although will need a second bucket as one of mine is full of a dismantled hoover senior... and I'm not washing a car without being a 2 bucket wanker) Work has finished, it officially starts! oldcars 1
Bucketeer Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 I think Chris might be trying to kill me. Don't tell him, I don't want him to know that I'm on to him. He gave me a grinder with a new disc to cut the tin and during the second sheet I felt something wizz past my trouser leg . . . . I think he's given me cheese cutting discs. All because I called his MG ZR a Rover a few months ago. oldcars, Arthur Foxhake and Stanky 3
Bucketeer Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 This one just bounced off my steel toecap.I'M SORRY CHRIS, IT WAS AN MG NOT A ROVER.
richardmorris Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 Have started loading the car- big tool box, multimeter, breaker bar, torque wrench, vernier calipers, etc. Is a charged but ten year old 065 battery any use to anyone?
beko1987 Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 Amy got me a big bag of shopping earlier! And thanks to my laziness several items I used at sf17 are still in the boot! I'm packing the car in the morning, cba to start now!
Arthur Foxhake Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 I'm not working Saturday any more. Contemplating bringing my caravan over on Saturday. Also my big army tent and travel burner in case of rain. I don't have clearance for this yet so it may not happen.Mrs Foxhake has a cold and is not very approachable at the moment but I'm working on it. beko1987 and The Moog 2
beko1987 Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 Do it! Tell her you'll leave her alone all weekend as a treat! There's a big gazebo there already, so dunno if you'll need your tent, but didn't your burner get approval last year? Would be good to have it this year, been getting chilly at night
Guest Hooli Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 Put your burner by the missus to thaw her out. Arthur Foxhake 1

Six-cylinder Posted September 7, 2017 Author Posted September 7, 2017 He is still alive and well. The Moog, richardmorris and oldcars 3
Arthur Foxhake Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 Mrs Foxhake is not making encouraging sounds at the moment but there is time yet...
richardmorris Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 I see the "facilities" are being painted too! Now there's posh! Still needs a screen mind!
beko1987 Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 Very posh! I presume it'll have a front as well?
Stanky Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 Are you sure thats not the 'chamber pot' before the proper lavvy is sorted?
Guest Hooli Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 Where's the billiard room? It's been changed to pocket billiards while you queue. beko1987, oldcars and The Moog 3
beko1987 Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Want me to bring some gasket sealant for the visa?
Bucketeer Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 I could do with that for the holes in the toilet roof. oldcars, Six-cylinder and The Moog 3
andy18s Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Want me to bring some gasket sealant for the visa? IMG_20170908_074312.jpgAh,the staple of Bulgarian buildings...If silicone doesn't seal it then move up to expanding foam,If that fails then it's a switch to concrete..Then start at the sealant again and repeat till watertight egg 1
beko1987 Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 I could do with that for the holes in the toilet roof.Ill bring it along, it's gone a bit too hard for sealing up vacuum cleaner fan cases, but fine for a toilet roof. Will bring my old tube of tigerseal too if you want, might need the nozzle unblocking though but should work
