Are you doing the camping as well? I don't mind phoning and booking/paying in advance if we can get hard numbers on how many will be camping.

Are you saying you don't mind doing the camping booking for everyone? Because that's the bit I'm worried about screwing up, since I don't know what a tent is.

Yeah I don't mind doing it. Most people will be car camping anyway so just need to know how many spots or pitches we will be needing.

The club stand this year is booked under the name Autoshambles. I believe Dollywobbler proposed it as an organiser friendly alt.

 

Why not HBF club, as usual? Because I filled out the form so I get to decide. Also I forgot about it until just now.

Unfortunately AH'M OOT for camping at the very least, still in for show at the minute but it's not 100% at the moment.

Camping in a Volvo estate is the best tenting this side of a caravanette, you won't be disappointed.

Some sort of mattress might be a good idea but don't worry about space, you'll have plenty!

My attendance at Chumly is in jeopardy. Well, I can still go but I may have to try and blag my way in to the show with 1990, H registered, Mk6 Golf due to serious FTP from the Volvo.

You should be fine to get in with the Golf if the Volvo can't be fixed in time. Attach pineapples to it for added scene points!

I just phoned and booked three spaces. I got charged £20 per pitch as apparently the electric fee of £5 is now "complimentary" and included in the price. I am rubbish at arguing on the phone so just paid £60 total but as the website still shows £15 I may have to try and get a refund once we are actually on site.

There are still quite a few spaces left after what I booked and it was pretty empty last year so if anyone wants to book their own space between now and when we go you should be fine.

I think they stop taking orders for dinner at 8pm. I only just made it in time last year, I hope to be a bit earlier this time, depends how work/packing/traffic are that day.
