Is the battery that is "fully charged" the original battery that has been connected while suffering the parasitic drain? If so, running a lead acid battery flat royally fucks them up and kills them.

Any ideas if its turning over at normal speed and not catching, or is the battery fubared and not providing enough juice.

I've had this a few times whfb the battery terminals aren't tightened properly . I'd double check the terminals and try to jump start it.

All I know is he had the battery on charge the other day brought it out fully charged but there was nothing not even a clicking solenoid the lights are on but nobody's home........................................

Almost def the battery. I have 4 1 year old batteries down the side of my house because I left them in a car for 6 months which killed them completely. Wouldn't take one iota of charge. It only took me 4 years to learn my lesson!!
