There is a distinct possibility, that in January I may be laying my paws on this beautypost-2866-0-28266100-1481704913_thumb.jpg

It's in Derbyshire.........and I am not...........so will be driving Xantia up to collect it. If anyone wants a free Xantia 1.9 n/a, this may be your lucky day.......

Going to view green loveliness Saturday, and if all goes well, collection in January.

Can always dump a xantia on my drive if needs be and I'll sell on your behalf. Which part of Derbyshire?

I'm awaiting post code as we speak.........................Xantia is free to anyone who wants it.looks horrible [lacquer leprosy] but long MOT, and apart from slightly crunchy second gear synchro, in fine health mechanically. Goes well if you drive it like you stole it, and returns 48 mpg regardless, Although Lucas non veg.

If you want to drop it off here I'll run you to the car. I'd have the xantia but no use for another car nor can I afford to insure it.

I'll let you know where I'm going when I have relevant info......................many thanks

That Matra is HOT. is that one of these with 3 front seats?

Yup. Trust the French to design a sports car for the wife AND mistress...

I thought that plate was familiar, it must have lived locally at one point. This was 2010.

One of the very few French marques where the designers hadn't apparently scoffed a load of dodgy snails before embarking on a month-long mescaline and LSD binge... good darts!

DE22 2SW

Less than ten miles from me so yes I'd be more than happy to help.

Wow that's nice. And pop up headlights ftw. Are the rear lights used elsewhere, they look familiar?

i'd be interested in having an xantia again if its still available around that time. Matra looks lovely, always liked them.

I'm unsure if col passes cov. If so he could pick you up and come this direction with you, you drop him off and take xantia back? Everyone happy?!

Should have used upside down SD1 rear lenses- major design flaw I say.

The rear lamp clusters are bespoke units to the Murena. However they are based around Horizon units with extra wrap around portions on the corners. Door handles are Lancia Beta Coupe/Hpe items. Door mirrors are early spec Lancia Delta.post-20412-0-04034600-1481720935_thumb.jpg

Actually to save day insurance, drop it at mine at cov and i'll run him up to collect new car in Derby! Had two Xantias in the past and loved them.

What an epic machine, lovely colour too; there's not enough green cars on the planet.   (That's the colour green, not VAG's fraudulent marketing description).

That is beautiful, quirky but excellent, and named after a jungle book character to boot!

Edit my bad it's a Murena not a Bagheera, still beautiful tho........
