Anyone up for this?

10am-4pm circuit location is KY12 9TF

Car and first driver £66

Additional drivers £36

Full details here: http://www.knockhill.com/trackdays/hot-hatch-car-trackday-dec4

I'm planning to take the Megane likely with my brother and potentially one other driver.

We were all in the one session at the last meeting, had a great time despite the fog cancelling it half way through.

Always a good spread of cars and abilities and you can hire helmets at the circuit.

Probably a no, but I will try to work my magic.

Starlet goes in for MOT end of the week.

I might just see what it's like on the day and pay the late tax if it isn't snowing.

I still don't have a V40 T4 on my driveway due to lack of cash leaving me a beige, diesel Peugeot 205 or an 850 automatic. FFS.

I may be persuaded to slowly waft around the track, as long as it's not bloody snowing.

After doing some googling I definitely don't want one of these with 190k on it when there are FSH ones with 110k on them for 300 quid or so more.

I still want one though.

I got through most of a set of rear tyres at knockhill in my X1/9.

Best fun ever.

A good few years ago, 1998 if I remember.. end of the straight, into the right hander and a 205 GTi cut in front and braked hard to get his line for the left. I braked whilst cornering in a mid engined motor and physics took over. Spun, then slid down the grass sideways. Was all OK until I hit the gravel side on, which flipped me on to the targa bar..the roof was off at the time. Rolled back on to its wheels. I got taken to the first aid in an ambulance and the car got towed to the pits. I had a tiny scratch on my elbow, the car had 2 flat tyres and a bent targa hoop, and a couple of broken windows. I drove it home.
