How class are they? Without being rude what's the cost of attending this fine event?

I've been three times now.........once as corporate guest (day) and twice paying (for weekend).

Important to note there is loads on the outside you can see for nothing - so much so I'm planning to pay for one day next year but stay over for a couple of days.

There is a (previously) grand hotel in Boggy that isn't bad but you need to book fairly early.

No there isn't. They changed the rules this year apparently. Now, it's ALL ticket only. It's a bloody awesome event, but by heck it's not cheap.

Foiled my plans for a cheaper trip then!

Agree though........tis a nice event. Some good shopping as well.

Never seen a race yet.

Good band in one of the posh champagne tents too...........Jackson Sloan.

Any halfwits near bognor fancy a pint later?!

Good way to endear yourself to the locals there! :-)

It's a brilliant, brilliant weekend, but it costs a fucking fortune. Particularly from Glasgow at 17mpg! All the hotels treble their prices and are fully booked from Christmas before.

Have worked as a marshal there for the last couple of years. Fantastic event, even if you're working there. Last year we only worked 2 out of the 3 days and took the Sunday off to enjoy it. Not going this year but I will be back.

Just watched the Friday night race live via the website-fabulous stuff as usual with cars driven hard and glowing brakes and exhausts

Here's a few pics from my first visit. The paddock at dawn is a magical place.

Enjoy it!

Never done the Revival. I'll work on it for next year. Maybe sell my cars for the tickets.

Which could be tricky as my car would also be my overnight accommodation.

Have a good day. I've been a few times, but it's got too expensive for me, and I hate the Crowds now. A friend of mine is a " Maserati show girl /lady" and my hairdresser has vip Aston Martin ( I think) tickets- it's who she knows!

I've been a few times, including the very 1st,but not for a few years now.Always had a fantastic time, but like Festival of Speed,it just got busier & busier. As already mentioned,evening/night races are amazing, you just can't really explain the whole thing properly to someone who hasn't been.

I went to the first too. Can't remember the year though! I've booked the fiat in for the Italian breakfast club next month but haven't heard back yet.

Buy Austin Maxi or, even better, a Nash Ambassador, and make the car your bedroom. Simple!

About right - it was only about £25 then!

Here's the fiat on the grid!
