School night collectioning

So swapped the insurance over from the Alfa to space runner. That is the 5th this year I have swapped insurance (£30 admin fee each time... Ouch)

 

Been enjoying it today, missus Moog has given it the thumbs up

 

Issues are

 

1) air con squeals lots, sounds like a banshee under the bonnet

2) handbrake light was always on for first half of the day. Luckily it decided to average itself out by not working now

3) tyre squeal is gr9 for sounding like the professionals at 10mph

4) an annoying squeak I will need to hunt down with extreme prejudice

5) wheel wobble

6) a du du du du noise from front wheel, matched to road speed

7) ideally needs new dampers all round

 

That makes it sound so much worse than it is. I think it is a keeper, well I my terms.

 

Will out the Alfa up for sale at the weekend.

3) tyre squeal is gr9 for sounding like the professionals at 10mph. Noticed that on a roundabout. So impressed I went round again
4) an annoying squeak I will need to hunt down with extreme prejudice. Squeak?? Hmm, never heard. Possibly a bit deaf.
5) wheel wobble. Yep, perhaps/most likely a good balancing needed. 
6) a du du du du noise from front wheel, matched to road speed. Summat in the tyre?? 
7) ideally needs new dampers all round. Thought it was meant to be a bit soft. Mind you, prob not ideal for track days

 

Miss seeing it outside the house. Glad Mrs Moog gives it the thumbs up

Sorted the handbrake light. I think the brake fluid level is low. It's also darker than a moonless night on exmouth.

 

Will need to change that then.

Not when I have fixed the aux belt squeal, battery drain plus upper wishbone

 

Basically it has got a holiday and some stuff fixed

I'm tempted, but I really need to get rid of something first. I've still got that b*stard BMW here, that only runs when it wants to. Could do with that parking space back!
