No need for this now the trophy is home, basically its rapid. I have spent an easy £2000+ on this in the last 18 months. 

 

 

I make no apologies as it ain't £400, but its well sorted.

 

Don't really want to sell but it only goes on weekend trips to sainsbury's.

 

I might get laughed off the playing field but would take £1900 firm from a shiter its on the bay for £2200 which is maybe a bit optimistic but good ones can fetch a few bob. I am still out of pocket by A LOT at £2200.

 

Its still taxed and insured so we can go down the bypass baiting golf gti's and what not.

 

 

 

For sale is a very well looked after Saab 9-5 aero 2.3 turbo. 

 

Mot March 2017.

Full history includes all invoices and stamped book.

Fortune spent in the last 18 months.

295 bhp and 450nm.

Mechanicals

 

 

It drives perfect, it's never missed a service and has been serviced up until 3 years ago at a Saab independent garage and then since then at a performance specialist. 

 

In the last 18 months has had, a aph performance 3" down pipe aka a albert666 (£425) including a new 200 cell race cat. A full cat back custom exhaust (£450) includes a lifetime warranty. A do88 full fat intercooler including all pipe work (£600). Remapped by saabnoob who specialises in Saab remaps(includes open Sid). Original Saab di cassette (£230). New plugs, air flow meter, Bailey dump valve, new coolant and brake fluid, new apc valve, new 3.5 fuel pressure regulator, new piper panel air filter, new actuator setup by a specialist, plus loads more, all invoices available. 

 

Serviced every 3k in my ownership using only Saab filters and fully synthetic oils. 

 

A sump drop has been done last year and the newest version of the crankcase breather PCv6 has been fitted. 

 

No smoke or rattles from the engine hot or cold. Never runs hot and boosts perfect. No tapping or chain rattle.

 

One advisory from the mot was a oil leak, this was from the sump drop and has been rectified. Always warmed up and cooled down correctly. 

 

Gearbox, brakes, suspension and clutch all fine.

 

Bodywork.

 

Shines very well, does have marks that tie in with the age of the vehicle. Has had a vinyl wrap carbon roof fitted by the previous owner this was to hide a few hail stone marks. New osram night idiom bulbs fitted.

 

The hammerhead wheels are in OK condition would benefit from a refurb, they come with new Hankook v12 tyres in the correct load rating fitted less than 3 thousand miles ago (£400). New gm wiper blades fitted a month ago.

 

Interior. 

 

 

The heated electric memory leather is in perfect condition, both heated seats work, and all electrics work. The interior as a whole is near on mint. The air con doesn't blow ice cold. New original Saab mats fitted a few months ago. Original CD player works fine, new alpine speakers fitted in the rear existing holes so can't be seen. The information display (Sid) has been refurbished so no missing pixels. 

 

 

Comes with the complete book pack, original sales brochure. Complete stamped service book, invoices from day one to present day.

 

Drives great and is very quick. It is still mega quiet and refined the exhaust is only a slightly bit louder than standard, the dump valve makes no noises at all as is recirculating. So know one knows the performance that is available.

Had some right nob cheese sniffers after this. Had it on pistonheads, eBay, gumtree, a lot of forums. Had three people who where Defo coming to have a look, all arranged times and days and never showed or even let me know. Cheers dickwad.

 

So anyone want it £1700???

 

If not might save a bit and go all out for 15000bhp.

That's a lot of Swede for the money. Brother in law has a standard W plate 95 Aero and it's a cracking car. I love the way they put out so many horses through, yet many don't have a clue just how powerful they actually are. Good luck with the sale.
