Rover 214Si adventures with a new owner! :)

Ok folks, I'm tired and I have had enough of 'too many cars'. I have the Amazon and the Sable NYPD car and that is sufficient in anyone's books. These two are for sale.

1995 Mitsubishi Space Runner

This is a 1.8 petrol engined 5 seater MPV. Automatic with overdrive.

Ace thing with decent bit of useful room but not stupidly large. Lots of glass so visibility is ace. It has the slidey side door (passenger side). Some scratches and small trolley dings. It is a lovely thing to drive and just lopes along happily but I suspect the wheels could do with a balance. The handbrake light is erratic. Temp guage is rock steady.

It has aircon, electric sunroof, electric windows, electric mirrors which are heated!

PAS, very adjustable seats which are as comfy as a comfy thing.

The engine is a sweetheart and is nippier than people realise. It gives me 36mpg generally and maybe a bit more on a run. Mileage is a tad over 105 thou and is MOT'd until 22nd December. Tax to get you home. Price £395 OVNO

***** Addition! Some satin black paint needed to make it moar pretty!!!

3 door L reg Rover 214Si

in dark metallic green. Lovely beige interior, very comfy indeed. Not currently MOT'd but this will hopefully be done just after pay day next week. 5spd manual, manually adjustable door mirrors, latch opening rear side windows, cracking little car! Mileage is a mere 55,300 and a bit! It has a tow bar with single electrics. I fitted new tailgate rams and Andy fitted new front pads. It drove all the way from Oop North to Essex with no issues at all. I can't see anything that will prevent a new ticket being issued. The car runs beautifully and idles just dandy. The bodywork is very tidy indeed. The clock works perfectly :)

Issues: the headlining is a little droopy in places and the drivers side door card has a damaged bit about the size of a fag packet on the inbuilt armrest.

That's it really.

Price: with a full ticket I'd be looking at £375 OVNO please. The Rover is located in Essex, near to Chelmsford.

Deposit now taken on the Rover of Greeness.

The sale of the cars will enable me to sort out insurance, do the Amazon bits and generally be less stressed.

Thanks

Mitsu would roffle at 8 quid a ticket, the Golf at 4 quid??

Golf: fit exhaust with help from me, book MOT, drive away.

Hope the link functioned. I have a poor history with links.

No worries mate. Am happy for any of them to go to a worthy home.

Why so pissed off man?

I thought that Mitsubishi was made for you.

No, it was made for me, Ken was just looking after it until I had enough spare funds*.  Sadly that day just keeps getting further away...

*That's what I've been telling myself anyway!

It is a fantastic thing but I've kind of had enough and want a clear out.

I have the Amazon and the Sable, that is enough re: time/money/energy.

Trusted Shitter Payment Scheme available Mr Rod.

The Amazon has just travelled to the MOT station and back in 2 years, needs to be used. The Sable will hopefully see some shows next year or some film action maybe.

We'll see. Just need some breathing space.

We all get like that from time to time Ken, a bit of a clear out and letting the dust settle in time for something else coming up for sale is exactly what is needed.

All I can say is good luck,

I have to slim down not want to and so far I've bought more than I've sold.

This time next week you may find you feel different about your fleet

The Golf sounds ideal for the lad to bugger about with (ie cheap enough) but recovery and also the fact that Mrs Womble would probably nail my gonads to a plank if I turned up with another vehicle at the moment possibly prohibit me from buying. Mind you.... Its not for me.... Hmmm....

I know you said the Golf needed exhaust parts fitting, but I think that's the wrong kind of cat.

This is what happens when you allow mad fuckers access to your photobucket account.

Black/Black & White cats are incredibly hard to rehome, they are seen as being 'less pretty or photogenic' than tabbies/torties, etc. The shelters are full of such kits that need good homes. Harry the Ginger One was a stray that adopted us, it took me a  good few weeks to earn his trust to even allow me to stroke him. Now he is part of the furniture. He sleeps on the bed between my feet and is very much 'my cat'.

Golf engine bay to show just how clean this car actually is.

The only bits that let it down are the roof and the bonnet.

This is one solid car!

Come down, fit exhaust bits. Pay me.

Drive away.

It's simple.
