Forbes Shale - 2006 Hyundai Matrix

Yo SHITERZ,

SWMBO is making noises about wanting a 7-seater so I've been left with the envious task of selling her current motor to one lucky person.

This is probably way too new for anyone on here so I'm not going to expect my door being beaten down for it.

The car in question is a 2006 Hyundai Matrix 1.6 GSi, finished in actual red. Not pink or salmon. Been protected with 'Supaguard' or something when it was new.

Has covered 106k, and has a full 12 month ticket as of yesterday - one advisory being a worn N/S/R tyre. Drives superbly, engine and gearbox are spot on. Timing belt done sometime in the 80,000's (can't remember exactly when, it's written in the service history.)

Towbar has been used only the once for towing a small box trailer, all electrics work no problem.

Has service history and receipts from past work done - from memory in the two and a bit years we've had it I've had a tyre, windscreen and coil pack replaced.

Some PIKTURZ. Sorry they are all in focus and not of my knob or anything.

I can supply more if required.

Price? We are looking for around £850 - this is the shiters price.

Location is Pulham Market near Diss in Norfolk. Can pick up from Diss/Norwich train stations.

Please don't all rush at once, I expect this to fall off the front page like a lead balloon. I just thought I'd offer it here first without having to deal with the twats on ebay and gumtree because I really haven't got time for them.

Thank you.

P.S - I can remove the twatty 'My Family' stickers off the back should you wish to remain to have any dignity and/or respect.

These are actually 'quite good things'. They were designed by Pinninnnafarina or something like that.

An idea has been planted.....

Pray, do tell....

Had two ideas for rehoming this BEAST...

Plan A: Stepdaughter wants new motor, so I sent her a link to this page last night.

Plan B: One of my besties wives has just had her Yaris written off by some blind nobber outside their kid's preschool....so I suggested it to him, email link.

Just got home, Plan A: "It looks like a box, and Dad says it'll be dear to insure, and drink a lot" (This is the dad that bought her first car, a Mark One Fiesta, which was actually two Mark one Fiestas, and the car before the 306, an utterly fucked 106 with a seriously bent MoT, which was scrapped when the mot expired as my tame MoT tester declared it "dangerously unsafe).

So, that's a no then.

Plan B: "Nice one Bob, but madam's folks are buying a new car, so they're giving us their old one" (despite him saying to me they wanted something bigger than the Yaris next as the kids are getting bigger....3 guesses what his in-laws have??? Yep. A fucking Yaris.

Sorry mate, I tried.

PS Loved your early Scritti politti stuff.... :-D

Don't sweat it Outlaw, thank you for your interest in this fine steed. If you know anybody else who wants it then let us know, like.

Why thank you Re: my early work. May I recommend 'Cupid & Psyche '85' for a brief snapshot into how much I love Arif Mardin. I even bummed him once.

STILL FOR SALE....
