Forse hail 1985 Poxhall Cowton 2.0 Misery spec 12months MOT £450

Most of you will remember the carlton I bought. Some of you wish you hadnt. Its now got 12months MOT from today. Ive done a considerable amount of work for the MOT

4 part worn decent tyres

welded and rehung the Exhaust

Adjusted rear brakes

new front ARB links

welded rear of sills and inner arches

replaced some bulbs

fixed the handbrake ratchet

fixed some bulbs

replaced the wipers

Theres more but i cant be arsed to mention it.... This is a ROLLING PROJECT. It still needs work so dont expect a mint show winning car. The front calipers need replacing as the seals have split and one works harder than the other. I would recommend changing the rear springs and shocks as they crash about abit. There is some body work that needs finishing. It has speed peal across the roof and boot lid, and the washer/intermittant wiper relay is missing.

I will update more later on or tomorrow. But for now, its £450 no offers. I will throw in a brand new fuel tank if you want it.

Located in Stoke on Trent.

Do it, buy it!

That is a bargain. I've always wanted one, but as usual, it's at the wrong time.

Honestly, if I wasn't in the current situation I'm in, I'd have been running out the door the minute it was posted, but as usual, life happens and gets in the way!

I would love this, but the insurance companies seem to think that allowing me behind the wheel of this would cause cataclysmic damage that would bankrupt them. Either that or they are being greedy bastards.

Anyway, I am also shocked that it hasn't gone yet. Have you tried putting it on Car & Classic? It may reach a wider audience there and subsequently sell faster than it would do here.

I've just ran a quote and it came back cheaper than my diesel 406 did with a year's no claims. WTF?
