I've had this car now since last year, and it's been pretty reliable as a winter hack.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

However recently I tried to sell it and the buyer asked me to put a new mot on it for him, which is where it all went a bit wrong. I found one of the sills to be a bit squishy and today found some time to investigate it fully....

It's still mot'd until early June, but I think the only way to even it's balance sheet is to break it for spares.

 

Anyone need anything? There's 5 decent budget 185/65 15 tyres, a newish exhaust and a small battery...

Sill will repair with not much work. Easier than breaking.

 

Repair holes + MOT = mouthbreathers at your door with £450 and six scruffy kids.

It's beyond my buzzing skills I'm afraid, it's actually rotted the flange off in places so that'd have to be ground off, but what the picture doesn't show is that the front section of sill has all the integrity of a wet bog roll tube.

Yeah, it's an insipid, characterless blob, but it still looks a respectable enough conveyance to the motoring masses.

Stand in is just shy of 200, it runs fine but I'm not sure it'd be worth the effort if I have to pay someone to patch it.
