£100 Daihatsu?

Recommended Posts

Anyone want to take advantage of my laziness?

Car is a Cat C, but I've bought it back off the insurers, so it is good to use.

Needs a minimum of an indicator lense, or orange tape if you are that stingy!

£100 if gone asap.
Mot October

Located essex, near Southend on sea.
Closest train station is Leigh on sea or Rayleigh.

Sir (or Modom),

A few difficult questions about your fine automobile and I already own an industrial roll of orange tape..

Does it drive, is it mechanically, ok?

Are the rear seats removable?

Would it traverse France, the Pyrenees, Spain and 0.5 of Portugal with a load of stuff in the back  happily?

Is it available of an evenings viewing?

I can't find the postings about it's "mishap".

Swap for a quality* ped , with no papers, which has looked like this?

And the final one - will a Portuguese scrap yard welcome it  after it has had it allotted 6 months being abused as builders hack?

I think Alan is pretty much giving it away at that price. This is it pre-accident a couple of months back.

It is in excellent mechanical order. I am sure seats are removable, and I would trust it anywhere.

And yes, if it isn't too difficult to register the ped!

I'm already grinning at the thought of what a epic thread that could be running it to Portugal!

Hi , is the moped a runner and up for £100 , also whereabouts are you please ?

Sortof reconsidering what to do...

Front panel bent, may be saveable.

It took me 20 minutes to strip it, so perhaps repairing is not such a task after all?

I'll take it off your hands if it is still for sale :)

Fancy bringing it to Chelmsford?

Stick with it. Looks like minimal damage and you were hugely underselling it at a measly tonne.

Hi,

I have not tried to start it as there is an unresolved plug lead issue, it is not seized, it is not registered within the UK, sorry but I didn't realise I was selling it for a 100 of your British pounds I thought I was trying to acquire non-commercial transport for my self and several hundred chilli plants presently potted at GU2 7XH to a foreign nee-Portuguese field.

I was just trying to get in quick should the moped / chilli transporter swap not happen .

When are you off to portogal , I have contacts so might be able to find you a local chilli carrier ,

I'm over in Horsham

From October 1st the VIC scheme has been abolished for Cat C vehicles (unless a VIC test slot has already been booked in) with Cat A & B vehicles being unable to obtain a V5 certificate after the 26th October. At this time it is our understanding that Cat A & B vehicles will still require a VIC test between the 1st and 26th October.

Therefore, if you are looking to get a Cat C vehicle back on the road you will no longer be required to book a VIC test slot, instead you can proceed to obtain a replacement V5 from the DVLA in the normal manner. It is worth mentioning that replacement V5s will be available free of charge for Cat C vehicles.

Still willing to purchase if you still wish to sell.

You are third in the queue, Ken, will let you know.

In other news, I have straightened the front panel and will be refitting parts soon. I may even pick up an indicator lense on Saturday...
