Big apologies. As Bucketman has said life it a bit hectic. Also Missus moog starts every conversation with  "when are the cars going".  Plan on friday is to clean and do better pics of the car.

Due to V40 failing MOT this is going to be pressed back into service.

Missus Moog has replaced this with a Focus Auto.

 

So this is surplus to requirements.

 

Mot is the end of the month. It's a 1.6 Auto.

 

Abs light is on which will need sorting for MOT.

 

Beyond that it drives really well.

 

Car take back have offered £70 so get a month's motoring for £30

May be interested as someone has asked me to look out for a cheap Auto as after their foot operation they'll be unable to drive a "normal" car for a month or so.  A non-legally binding question --- what's the effort I'll need to put in to do the ABS light/MOT ?   Is the present MOT end of the month July?

Mot is due end of August.

 

I did the paperclip test and it came back right rear sensor.

 

At that point I gave up! They are quite pricey (£120)but may just need a clean. I didn't know if it was Honda specific or wether rover ones would fit

Oh god yes.... This is a real tool. Mpg sucks donkey cock, on a run you can 34 at best.

 

But as a cheap thing to get you from a to b with least hassle t works.

Oh I wont be getting gone of the Audi. I thought a auto civic sounds appealing for workUntil 34mpg on a run was mentioned. God knows what a congested commute will do!
