Can't quite remember on the clutch as it's been a week or so since I've driven it, will pop up tomorrow evening and move her about.

Only £651 short. GLWTS, these are awesome cars and that is a total bargain.

Where's the real Six-cylinder, and what etc.

Ben

I think putting this car on here is all an evil ploy to tip me over the edge, so you can have me locked away and share out my car collection between you!

You know your way to the JohnK storage bunker as well now Chris and its not a bad old drive - no excuses.

I've had a couple of cretins on eBay who I've just told to get fucked and would rather it sold through here. Will try and bosh it in for a test tomorrow.

No worries mate, well done on the sale :)

This got picked up tonight. What an absolute pair of gems who bought it.

I received a message from somebody on eBay with a decent offer - I had it up for £750 or offers. They offered £650. I'm aware that was my asking price on here, however for eBay I hadn't taken the liberty of advertising it as such (i.e. with full MOT) and left it with its MOT until the end of April. There was a phone number with the message.

I gave them a quick call, sussed them out and within 2 hours I had £150 deposit in my bank. Just collection to arrange then - they live in Hull so about 2.5hrs away.

All arranged for Monday then get a call this afternoon, can we come this evening instead? Sure. They turned up at 7.30pm, bundled £500 cash into my hands as soon as I got out of my car (MG is stored at my lockups - it was inside and they hadn't even seen it at that point!). Car pulled out, they were happy and off they went.

If only every sale was as easy as that. I did have some other cretin on eBay ask if the head gasket had been done - no it hasn't and there was no signs of any problems. He then proceeded to tell me he would have to think about buying it from me for £650 as, although it was a cheap car, it wouldn't be cheap if the head gasket went and he had to repair it. He informed me about a lovely sounding MGF he had viewed earlier in the week that had been 'full sorted mate', so I politely* told him to fuck off and buy it.
