The website that claims they buy any car  ,i am not considering using it  but where do all the sub £1500 cars they buy go ?

I bet they only offer a quarter of the value knowing they will go to auction anyway. I have heard that they offer a decent price but then knock it down on every tiny blemish when people turn up.

Exactly this. My mate at a Clio 182 with a ton of rare options. He needed to get rid of it quick for a deposit on a house. Can't remember what they offered but he was given a lot less on the day as they picked at every tiny thing

Yes, and they have gotten into bother over it before. They also deduct admin fees, too.

They get sold through BCA as 'UK car group' vehicles....most BCA sites have at least one sale a week with these cars

Evans Halshaw give you £100 more over webuyanyshitbox.

I would assume some stay in their network?

A friend did very well with her 54 Espace, no deductions and didn't notice the HGF

They buy ALMOST any car! They wouldn't buy my Skoda Fun OR my Wartburg Knight (mind you, I don't blame them!)

I hate them for their blatant false advertising but it's a good place to tow-drop a lumpy but terminally frigged motor. Bloke I work with was happy to get knocked-down for just a few stone chips when they didn't even lift the bonnet of the 2011 520d with a cracked block he limped through the gate.

I used Trusted Car Buyers to rid myself of a Focus, same sort of service but they quoted about £500 more than WBAC. They only knocked off £75 for a cracked windscreen, and took it on a pleasingly short test drive that didn't reveal any of the cripplingly expensive faults.

I basically drove it home from the Ford dealer where I'd asked them to turn all the warning lights off, booked it in for an appointment, used a hire car for a few days for work and sacked the Ford off. It needed a DMF and DPF as bare minimum.

Might be a local place as their head office is about 10 miles away but I seem to remember they use indie dealers as agents.

Yes that is right, they do not buy ANY car because I know of a Fiat coupe getting turned away, nothing wrong with it either.
