Why can't I copy & paste into posts on here???

There is an advert on Facebook that I would like to share with my fellow shiters, especially those North of the border but I cannot copy and paste the advert onto here. I can paste it into Word ?!?!?!?

I use my iPad to browse the 'net.

 

To paste stuff into this site I have to tap the screen a million times but it usually gets there in the end. Other sites are ok and I have no problems looking for porn.

Press ctrl (control) and v - it's the keyboard shortcut for paste.

Tried that and it copies it to the clipboard but when I press ctrl + v on here then nothing appears. I can go into Word and press ctrl + v and it appears

No, I've saved the image to my laptop and was going to insert it into the post as normal.

touch and hold on what you want to copy, after a second or two it will offer you to copy it. If it's text you can stretch the bars to select more text.

Put iPad/tablet in bin and buy a proper computer with usable input devices. Sorted.

 

Being more helpful, some websites use JavaScript to disable right clicking and/or copying. Apps are worse for this, e.g you can't copy and paste using the Windows Mobile Facebook app outside of the text input boxes (at least not a way I can find anyway), so copying a post to share it elsewhere is no possible.

I tried to copy and paste the eBay link for a bit of a Honda cz100 monkeybike in the "eBay bargains" thread from my laptop. It just won't have it though. Brand new laptop too, running Windows 10.
