quicksilver Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 Off to Stony Stratford this morning for my traditional New Year's Day entertainment. The town was absolutely heaving with classics parked literally anywhere a space could be found so these are just a few highlights. vulgalour Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 That looks like an excellent gathering. I don't recognise the Pageant Blue Princess but what a colour, really suits it! That Foden truck is just superb.
mercrocker Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 Yep...ta muchly. If Vulgalour hadn't claimed it I are mostly be wanting take that Foden home - look nice with that Fintail coupe swinging off the back of it, too.
Jon Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Thanks for posting, so have a nice bump from me, as most spotting threads go beyond page 1 too quickly. Personal favourites number too many and other people's lists are often prohibitively boring, so I'll just leave it by saying you've bagged some great spots. It makes me almost miss Britain!
PiperCub Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 The Cit's are nice, the Alfa gave me the horn (in a Derek & Clive style) as did the Benzo. But please, please tell me the Ferrari owners were looking on when you walked past their Fiats - sorry Ferraris, to take a picture of the Princess. I'd have paid money to watch that.
Mr_Bo11ox Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Great pics!!! That Healey Fiesta is an interesting thing, I wonder who owns it and how come its just popped out of the woodwork? Was at the NEC too I think.
NorfolkNWeigh Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Saw this unassuming little Cavalier L today at Bicester , the stance should be a clue, it's got a 24v Senator lump in it . Should be interesting on 155x13" tyres at 150+. fordperv 1
quicksilver Posted January 3, 2016 Author Posted January 3, 2016 Quicksilver what were you driving?I'm ashamed to say it was a Hyundai Getz - well my dad was driving as I'm unable to drive for medical reasons at present. Hopefully I'll be driving again next year and I can buy some shite to celebrate.
406V6 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Excellent pics. I'll take the blue Princess if it's got power steering. If not, the CX.
