Romsey, Boxing Day not Bluewater, Aunty Dot's or foopball

Got up early today and pedalled the Minor over to Romsey for the traditional gathering of interesting vehicles (yes they still let the Minor in...). Gets pretty busy later on and I didn't want to queue for a bacon butty. This is some of what I saw.

That montral is FIT.

Trivia - Simon Le Bon's wife drove one.

I meant to say montreal.

It's been a long night shift and I need my bed.

That Roman Bronze Mk2 Capri looks mega, ditto the Winnebago and the 'widow maker'.

A pleasingly eclectic collection :-)

My rat-rodding shed-neighbour has one of those 1940s Chevy cab-over trucks that he's rebuilding - it's ace.

What a great selection of stuff, I love shows that have such a broad spectrum. Thanks for posting :)

That looked a great show, especially for one in the middle of winter. Loads of nice stuff there.

I was going to go to this in the Mercury but didn't get it back in time.

I've seen that mk2 Capri round here before. I had to do a double take as at first glance I thought someone had nicked mine! But that ones later and higher spec than mine. It's a lovely car though.

OK, now I'm properly jealous.  There was supposed to be a similar-type meet going on at the Lakeland Motor Museum yesterday, I'd half-organised a little convoy to go down... then I got up and saw the rain.  It wasn't worth any of us turning out.  Even my dog didn't want her walk!

Some gems there, thank you.

E-Type looks fruity. Nice selection right there. We don't seem to get anything like this in rainy Cornwall; the idea of somewhere like Bristol continues to appeal...

That Laurel looks PHIT. I once read an article about the most stolen cars in Britain and the Laurel was at the top of the list. I reckon that this was the first time I became aware of lazy journalism, as the Laurel was probably the most stolen car by % if 4 of the 40 in the country were stolen in a year but Mk2 DisAstras had probably been stolen more.
