ITS MOT'D :) And yes, I made it, just. A legal, respectable car with a years mot for under a hundred quid all in (excluding tax and insurance, but including the MOT test)  Fuck you James Ruppert. I was doing this before you thought you wrote the book on it.

And it's gone already... ...........................................................................................wife's away to the shops.

I'll see it again when it makes a funny noise/ won't start/a light comes on on the dashboard.

I know what some of your responses may be to the above.....

I used to hate valeting Zafira's- there are so many nooks and crannies that you were never quite sure what you'd find,,,and everything was sticky. Amazing what a few years and 40 degree temperatures can do to a dropped jelly baby.

I've been in the back (3rd row) of a B model along with 6 other adults and I was impressed by the roominess and its oomph considering the load.

If there were 7 of you in the 3rd row, how many were in the front rows?

I'm here all week!

Err - I'll get me coat.....

Coming to the market soon, need to fit a front wheel bearing, had a rumbly left one, replaced it, then could just hear the same on the right. Whang a couple of tyres on it, replace MAF as the light's on and bung it on Gumtree. Wish me luck... What kind of clientele will a 51 plate Zaffy bring to my door I wonder. It is still a very nice example, too nice to get trashed.Sweetest 1.8 I've heard in many a year.

I'll tell you what type of clientele - they will have COPD, a staffie, various ornaments from b&m and wilko all over the house, a scarface poster with Al Pacino taking pride of place in the living room, a trampoline in the back garden surrounded by old settees and dogshit, kids called Nevaeh ( Heaven backwards - I shit you not there are kids called this) and Jayden.

You are very brave to offer this for sale - if it were me I would sooner nail my ballsack to a moving train.

Swap for a slightly oily meriva?

No ta,

Has been replaced by a Minty wee Panda, and the drive is now full of caravan. Neighbours are a bit miffed we have 3 cars in the street...

Genuinely sad to see our Panda go today. They are top motors - just too small for us now though. :-(

Not taken a pic of ours (hers) yet but I really really really like it. It is exactly this spec and colour.

Are they in the market for a 2001 Zafira, metallic green with a wheeltrim missing? I could lose another 1 if it helps.

I had pretty much that turn up when I sold my 53 plate 1.8 sewing machine edition and got haggled down to £550 with less than 3 months MoT and a paddling pool in the passenger footwell

I can't tell you how GR9 these are, really. The best car you will ever buy - goes like a rocket too. However image wise..... well I used mine today (posh car having an alloy re-cut) and had forget how the the public treat you - even people on buses give you the wanker handshake :)

Verdict: POTENT MEGA SPERM WINNAR

Yeah but no but Essex is Ford country isn't it? A nice green up here is associated with the gentry, matches their plus fours and goes well with tweed.

Ironically they had a brand new one on his motability, which she stuffed up terminally having booted him out - but she did manage to drive him in it to our house in Leeds to dump him on our doorstep after spending a few weeks homeless the useless fecker.

he now claims the whole motability and she has a small unmotorway worthy Pug allegedly with which not to transport his children to him in Yorkshire for the holidays, so it's up to me and his Mum to do the mileage.

Everyday is Jeremy Kyle day with that fucking family, so no, they can't afford the purchase price of a second hand Zafira of any description after fags, chippy teas, and family tax credit overpayments are taken into account.

I will be real envious if it has a fold flat passenger seat too.

I have no idea. I will check!

What's COPD?

As far as I know it's some sort of self induced heart problem from abusing crack cocaine and prescription painkillers!

which is some sort of disability golden ticket going by the street party they threw when my stepson got his appeal upheld

Posted

COPD = chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, basically not being able to breathe properly. Smoking is a major cause, but it can be from other things like breathing in dust at work, it's common amongst ex pitmen.

Here is our (back garden) trampoline complete with Grand Voyager alloy as step, so a Zafira seems the obvious next car! Where else do you go when your automatic Renault is proving too boringly reliable?

that is one feature I'd love in my Sedona, all the rear seats fold flat and can be lifted out on purpose!!
