Mr_Bo11ox Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Wow are those Kittens really under 550kg???? That's well impressive
plasticvandan Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Well under.you have to remember Reliant had lightness on the mind all the time, the Robins all had to be under 8cwt,most of mine weighing c. 410kg Kitty saloon is about 510kg from what I remember. Now you see with a free revving 40hp engine a good Robin will beat virtually any car from the lights, not that I've ever indulged in such activities... Craig the Princess, oldcars and Lacquer Peel 3
plasticvandan Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 And in addition, the engines in these quads aren't remotely scooter, usually a Kubota or lombardini diesel lifted straight out of ride on tractors etc,100% veg friendly... Lacquer Peel and oldcars 2
Eddie Honda Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Wow are those Kittens really under 550kg???? That's well impressive Not as impressive as the turning circle. Will piss all over a Herald or a Black cab. When I lived in Edinburgh it was great to U-turn into a parking spot right outside my flat (whilst someone in front who was aiming for the same spot had to go a few yards further to the mini-roundabout. Getitrightupya!) oldcars, barefoot, M'coli and 1 other 4
Stanky Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 A blue MC1 went through the auctions in southampton about 3 months ago, I think it bid to £300 but they reckoned it was zero tax which surprised me. 505cc diesel sounds utterly grim.
oldcars Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Having sat on one of those rear seats I can confirm that they are every bit as grim as they appear. They look like posh Reliant Rialto/Robin rear seats.
Eddie Honda Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Might as well slip this tut in, spotted in NL when I was on hols in 2011: It's a French JDM and apparently they went bust last year. DSCF3527.JPG by E Honda, on FlickrDSCF3528.JPG by E Honda, on Flickr R9UKE and Lacquer Peel 2
