PhillipM Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 . I don't think I've ever seen a saxo that actually broke the gearbox, it's always the links. This would be the MA box, the one known as the 'Chocolate Teapot'...oh they break, they break a lot..I was on my 3rd in the 306.... Â I do have one here that's in great nick, unfortunately it's the single linkage version warren t claim 1
Popular Post Junkman Posted November 29, 2015 Popular Post Posted November 29, 2015 Chronology of events. Some essential tools were packed.  Sadly it wasn't exactly a Thunderbird that was a go.  Met Bub in Matlock. Quick check revealed that his is indeed the first Sacksow of EVAH that shat its gearbox. All the linkages are fine, they move stuff at the gearbox etc., but no gear engages. Looks like something inside the box is broken. Hence towage to the Bub towers in Ripley. Then, between Ripley and Stockport, tonight a 405 estate was observed in low altitude flight. The Turkish Air Force claims it was in Turkish airspace, which it wasn't, I swerz.Had a bit of a dogfight with two Murat and an Anadol fighter planes, but thanks to the shitty weather, they abandoned pursuit. I'm home now and have this:  IMO well deserved. I think there are a lot of people around this here forum who would have done the same thing. KruJoe, Tickman, purplebargeken and 54 others 57
richardmorris Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Above and beyond the call. Autoshite hero of the month / year award? Tamworthbay, mercedade, PhillipM and 3 others 6
