Kollekshun Fred, attempt to go live....

I'm up too early, but you all know what it's like on "the day"........

I've already hit a snag - was supposed to send ££ via interweb banking yesterday, but due to Grandad committments, then Dadcab jobs, i didn't get infront of my PC until very late last night - and the bank's website was "unavailable due to maintainence".

Fortunately, the seller has said that'd be ok to do it this morning, so once I'm moar awake - coffee and fag first - it'll get done.

I've installed Tapatalk on my phone, so the plan is to do live updates, wifi dependent.

My journey will commence with the 9.58 from Grays to London Fenchurch Street. Then onto.......somewhere else.

So, fingers crossed my cunning plan works......

And no engineering work affecting the c2c today (well not on your bit anyway) which is nice.

Good luck with the updates!

Sounds like you have an appropriate CD to cover every level of strange noise from rattly tappets to no exhaust.

Good luck with the journey. Let me know when you plan to arrive. Had a last drive today back from Chesterfield and I will definitely miss this car. It has so much torque available for motorway duties. Will enjoy following your updates on here.

No thrashing. Just gentle acceleration up to an indicated 70mph officer.

I've had a message from outlaw. He is alive and well but too tight to pay for WiFi.

Because its becoming a board tradition, I feel obliged to offer opinion of who you fellas may or may not resemble.

Hungover Charlie Brooker and Let himself go John Sessions.

Back at mutha and fathas place, obviously car behaved impeccably, averaging 47mpg.

John Sessions and Charlie Brooker? Who's which?

Glad you're back OK and the car behaved itself. Why could I never coax 47mpg from it? You obviously have a lighter right foot. Enjoy :)

Roadworks on the M1, average speed cams @50mph definitely helped.
