It is a lovely car and it would be even better if a replacement drivers door card could be obtained :(

It runs beautifully and despite it 'only' being the 1.4 it is a flyer :)

Is it ex cav rover? If so I seen it up close at sf last year.

Bollocks :-( no pas. I would struggle with my bad left side parking etc I think

Thanks Tom but I'm going to see what's occuring with a scrap yard local to me. Right. I'm in need. Has anyone a medium sized car really cheap? I've considered my options and after being stuck in today I can't tolerate it and with weather being shite it's when I can get to get things together for car. I've considered tons fiesta but it's too small and also ken's mondeo but due to it being a second car I don't need something as big for a temporary measure. Really pissed off i can't insure the bx as that would have been ideal!

Owing to a temporary decreasing space at Beard Towers my Honda Prelude is available for short term borrowing use if needed? Max length of borrowing 3 months... Promise to look after it and not sit it on a wall etc...

I think insurance company will not be happy at that bob, large engine isn't it? Tanks for the offer though

It isn't that bad really. I have arthritis of the spine and I can manage it. PAS does make it easier though.

Ok. It's my grip with my left side being weaker than right mate.

I use palm of my right hand a lot when parking etc. Lot easier for me

Something cheap until I can get vectra parts sourced mate. I'd love a diesel though. The one outside is awesome. It honestly is. Just wish I could use it!

If you can park a car with your knob you should join the circus, not Autoshite.

Don't even tempt me with the proton! Always likevthem since my aunt had a k plate 1.5 se. None about now though. Just really need to get sorted. My mood not great today being stuck in.

Bub your Derby way ain't you? Have you tried autovaux in sandiacre for the vectra bits, ten mins from Albert looms straight down the 52, I find them a bit pricey sometimes but as the name suggests have shed loads of Vauxhall stuff on the shelfs off breakers.

Not tried them. I know allvox in Somercotes are pricey. Megavaux in long Eaton not so bad. Trouble I have now is I can't get anywhere to get bits, can't get tools to do job either. I'm kippered all roads!

Yo, try footman james for insurance, they will do anything over 20 years as a classic so should be quite cheap on the BX.
