I'd like to go to that Bubblecar museum, Autoshite had it's very first Shitfest there many years ago before i joined the forum. I like the idea of us having another Shitefest there again one day.

Wow, that poor Belphégor has gone downhill since I last saw it. :-(

The little 3-wheel van with the 5-spoke wheels is a Solyto.

Posted

It's like a museum museum, you don't get museums like this anymore.

^^^Wotty said - VL those are my thoughts exactly. Difference between a private personal collection and an architectural folly of committee-led, graduate-driven "attraction" that so many others have become.

Posted

Doesn't seem to have changed much since I was last there, apart from further deterioration of the Belphagor. Don't remember that Ami 8 Service van though - genuine RHD by the look of it! I think there are precisely two on the road in the UK.

Well as it is local to me, did you want me to enquire about a shitefest meet?

I guess this is a glitch but my profile picture has changed and now you have my original one. Do you know what's going on?

The Trabi's number plate is Polish, from the Szeczecinek district in the Western Pomerania Voivodeship.

Did anyone else skim-read that last word as Volvo Dealership?

Posted

Impressed to see Ely Cathedral get papped. Right on my doorstep.

Shame you missed the famous Volvo which is generally parked round the back.

Nice one, I first presumed it was an East German plate. Pity the poor original owner who had to pay foreign currency mark up for this, after putting their name down on a waiting list and possibly waiting for years to own it ;)
