Felly Magic Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Well today it was the 70's show again up in Naaaaaaaaaaaaarfolk. And in true British summer weather, it fuckingwell pissed it down. Anyhoo, here's a few photos to start you off. Several for the Rootes Arrow perverts included if you scroll through LOL. The blue Arrow was utterly gopping, and broke down 4 times on the way to the show. Comedy gold MOAR LATERZ brickwall, Vantman, oldford and 9 others 12
Skizzer Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 That Maestro look awfully familiar - ex Barrett / GaryCox? Or just similar plate?
Felly Magic Posted July 26, 2015 Author Posted July 26, 2015 Possible Here's 3 more from the show, including 2 Vauxhall Victors! anonymous user, Squire_Dawson, Bear and 3 others 6
Pillock Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Awwww, Roys McDonalds. The memories. The loitering. Looks like it was nice weather, better than here anyway!
Felly Magic Posted July 26, 2015 Author Posted July 26, 2015 Saturday evening was great, but today, overcast and cold until about half 12, when the rains came big style, and washed the show out
quicksilver Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 That Maestro look awfully familiar - ex Barrett / GaryCox? Or just similar plate?Maestro and top Victor are AngryDicky's. When I spoke to him yesterday at the Festival of the Unexceptional he said he was going to this. Looks a good show with some interesting stuff, shame about the weather though. Skizzer 1
Felly Magic Posted July 26, 2015 Author Posted July 26, 2015 He was lucky the beige Maestro wasn't bummed by Martin Chamberpot, owner of the J plate Maxi, he did molest the other Victor last year after consuming way too much booze. Saturday evening was crazy, had a blast, wished I'd been able to stay overnight, but lack of tent/ severe hand pain due to broken bones in it put paid to that plan
captain_70s Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 That Rapier is such a heap, it would give my Dolly 1850 a run for it's money in sheer shonkyness. I need it...
wuvvum Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Pissflaps, I had no idea this was today. Would defo have gone along in the morning if I had. I did pass quite a few '70s cars trundling Norwichwards in the early afternoon once the rain set in.
Felly Magic Posted July 26, 2015 Author Posted July 26, 2015 It wasn't that well advertised outside of Faceache tbh, due to the new Overlord organising things, and not Potsie the Nifty 50's bus driver. The BMW Rapier is so shonky, it's unreal, it's tall & posh owner clearly is hatstand for buying it. It's had a lot of welding done, and still needs much more really. It barely runs, and the carbs were in bits to try to no avail to sort it's breakingdown-ness. MOAR FOTOES 2MORROEZ as they say. captain_70s 1
fred Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 You know your show is a success when two FE's decide to attend Bear 1
michael1703 Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Bollocks, I was in Wroxham the day before, I saw that beige metro too!
flat4alfa Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Great to see my old Limeflower Maxi out with Chamberpot, even in all weathers. I didn't know it was on, which shows how well it was advertised
Felly Magic Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 Chamberpot is a top bloke, met up with him on Saturday in 'the Holy city of Bungay', where we met up with a couple of other facebook mates from the Bungay Appreciation Society, had a laugh, took photos of 'The Gay Shopper', then got hopelessly lost several times in Norwich going to Wroxham, as I didn't have my satnav on me, and Martin was relying on AA directions and his son's navigation skills. Series 2 with 2.5 TDi in behind Maxine the Maxi The Sacred Store that I'm sure Don Mclean sang about in 'Bungarian Pie'

Felly Magic Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 Mr Gibbon is a top bloke, and this was my very first pilgrimage to the sacred & Holy Bungaria and yes I did penetrate it's inner sanctum. Cyanide Steve would be proud LOL
