Electrical issues I believe, certainly not the nut behind the wheel this time. I seem to have lost reverse lights, all clocks on dash and no dashboard lights when ignition on. They come on dim when engine running except the battery light which is either bright or flashing with the trip display. Auto gearbox has gone into limp mode. A thud when reverse engaged and pulls off in third in drive. Also when in reverse or drive the wipers come on ad the beeper for lights on warning comes on. All problems came at once when I got in to leave a friends house just now. It's bloody stumped me!

Thanks

May I claim the honour of being the first of many to suggest this:

Sorry I don't have anything more constructive to add.  It sounds like it's gone wrong in several very French ways.

'tronic faults - often a bastard, sometimes surprisingly simple. Check the simple stuff first.....battery voltage when stopped and when running. Check for loose earths and battery terminals as stated above. If that doesnt work, bridge it.

1-28 are probably empty slots, with everything running through 29.......

There is a fair few fuses on this with relays inside the car then some more under bonnet.

I like a good panic with an easy solution. Now you just have to find out why the fuse blew!

Fuse looked about 25 year old which is impressive considering car is 17. Can't find no obvious reason as of yet. Maybe it just decided it didn't want to play ball
