The inaugural GLF Club results (fastest standing 1/4 mile)

 

Will Carr (Peugeot 205 TD) : 17.37

David Fowler (Volvo 760 TIC) : 17.05

Cameron MacAulay ( Peugeot 106 1.1) : 19.34

Neil Purdom (Skoda Octavia TDi) : 17.32

think I did 6- certainly less than I did up in Crail- They had actual competitios running as well.

Gutted I couldn't make this as it looked like epic fun. Surprised the 205 of much scary wasn't faster though.

it was really hard to get a good launch (as evidenced by my stall;)

 

highlight for me was racing a chap in a 1.9PD Skoda Superb (140bhp)- I won (3 hundredths) so the old octy is doing ok.

 

Think Crail is a faster track- everyone welcome to come up to run!

Think Will had identified a good campsite just south of Edinburgh-ideal stationing point for coming up.
