The jawa moped is painfully slow on hills so think I'll be moving it on shortly.

Camry failed it's MOT on Friday with 6 bits of welding required, new cat, shock and bushes.

LDV has been away for over a month having work done to get it through its MOT, I did a lot of welding on it but just couldn't be arsed doing the rest of the failures.

Now that the LDV is coming back with a fresh MOT I towed the Skoda to the same garage for head gasket replacement.

How did the Skoda tow? Did the light front end make for any handling difficulties?

My nickname at school was Jawa. No idea why when I looked like fucking Yoda. Thick cunts.

The Skoda rolls very easily so didn't seem to affect the handling at all. It was a lot less wobbly than towing the 305.

What's the contraption you're towing it with? Some form of A frame that ties on to the underside?

It's an A-frame.  The arms butt up against the front wishbones with a chain wrapping around them going back towards the A-frame which is ratcheted into place. Only available to dodgy bastards.

Only took 5 months to sort it out...

Yes, another top quality vehicle purchased.

Honda vision 80cc, I think we should race it against the Yamaha v80.

Would you be interested in my son's 1986 honda vision 50cc?

I should probably hold off buying any more scooters until I've sold the ones I have.

Front carry basket is such a good idea on a bike. So much easier to see if you’re shits fallen off. Amount of time I’ve spent reaching/looking back to check a admittedly badly secured load.

I had one of those.  It wasn't fast - I'm not surprised the V80 left it for dead.  It'd barely do 40.

I had the 125 version later - that'd just about scrape 50 but the acceleration was a lot better.

After Sunday's shite in the park we went to see a BX I'd enquired about over the weekend. I didn't end up buying it but Ged did and I drove it back to the unit.

It seems to go well enough although I was scared to drive it too hard as it had been off the road for a while and fuel gauge was either at zero or inoperative.

It goes up and down fine too.

It's had a wee bump on the rear corner but damage looks superficial.

TBH I would have expected a bit more than that from the Jawa with a SHA and an expansion exhaust.

I might stick the original exhaust on and see if it's any better.

That silver Honda that looks like it was found in the sea is quality.

Potential new shitter incoming!

Left a note on a local acclaim and they've just got back to me about it. I can't remember the reg number but know it's silver and could possibly be this one seen at a local show 10 years ago.

After pissing around with the brown honda Camino and realising how awful the jawa is I decided to raffle the jawa off at £1 a go over on FB and keep the Camino.

I raffled off the vision 80cc yesterday for £550  so need to make £350 from the jawa to break even.

IMG_20220930_161353652_HDR.thumb.jpg.88cce4b871e16f3becda02539e9cae15.jpg

The blue Camino just wouldn't run, I removed the side casing and discovered the flywheel wouldn't turn.  I tried removing the cylinder, one of the bolts sheared off and I had to hammer fuck out of the piston as it was seized in the cylinder.

70cc big bore kits are available so thinking I might fit one of those if I can remove the broken stud.

Not quite sure whether to get rid of this one or not.

Acclaim on a W plate? I drove an A plate a couple of times in the mid 90s and have seen a few Y plates over the years. W must surely be the earliest left?
