Looks like you guys had a good time. Does anyone know if my bikeshite got transferred into Andy's Ovlov? Supposed to be meeting him on the border today so gave him my number the other day but he didn't actually confirm that he had it/when he would roughly get here... So I bought a bike unseen and I have absolutely no idea where it is or if it even made it to shitefest :S

Edit: Sorted  :-D

My photos here, I'm sure you used to be able to do thumbnails on photobucket but I can't see how anymore?

You could post the first photo in the regular fashion and make it a link to the album. Nice variety of stuff hiding in them there bushes.

Bloody ace weekend chaps. I've been looking forward to it for months for a reason. Thanks to everyone for coming, it was great to drive the cars up the autoshite hillclimb and meet friends old and new. Only a year until SF16. It's at Gary Cox's house isn't it?

I can come and get you but it's in the wrong direction. I'm trying to get hold of Dodgy Tom as he's got a stack of spare wheels at his place.

On the good side it folds on the bad side the only gear is downhill.... Me I would bleach the saddle as soon as you get it home.... What happens at Shitefest stays at Shitefest....

I'm going for the fuel consumption prize again this year - managed to squeeze 71mpg from my tank on the way home :)

Home.  Top weekend.  Thank you Ian & Mat for organising.  Thank you Skizzer & 320touring for the rides up the hill in the R16 and the, er... "320 Touring".

The 300E seems to have averaged 30mpg over a bit less than 300 miles, mainly by keeping up* with the BX estate behind...  :D

Is it borked or is the gearing just absurd like the Esquire's? Alternatively you know you've got to pedal backwards to make it change gear, right? Good thing that it folds, if it was seized in the open position I'd be royally buggered/riding it home then walking back to get the car.

As for bleaching the saddle, well I fully expected it to be the shitefest bike so to speak.

I have no idea how the Alto did on fuel consumption, I traveled over 900 miles since leaving on Friday, it costs on average £18 to fill the tank up from empty and seemed to be getting around 100 miles for £10 or half a tank.

In that case it may well be a case of operator fail.... Twist grip is a nice touch though...

So it was in third the whole time then... On my Esquire even first takes a good bit of effort to turn, that was before I rebuilt the hub though.

Using the fuel prices around me (115.9 lowest) that works out at high 50's (58.5 is the exact number I got to). Also seems you've got a fag lighter for a fuel tank; 200 miles to a tank at about £20 means it must hold somewhere around 3 gallons.
