Now I think about it, don't non-AC Series 1s have a little plate with gear symbols on where the AC control is?

This is the interior of my CX2400 I/E Pallas with non std seats, GTi I think.

What's in the clock position there? Ammeter? Yeah, there's that little silver disc that I guess says Pallas, on the manual car would have the gear quadrant - that's where the A/C control was on mine. It was shown in the handbook so pretty sure it was factory, though if your new Pallas has it I'm impressed, I doubt many RHD S1s were so equipped - a different story for the S2s.

VIP interior, yep. Spend many happy hours driving from Scotland to Southern England and Wales in that sort of trim in my TRS. That door trim looks impressively unwarped, too.

Excellent purchase, S-c. Are the seats in the pic at the top of the page from a S2, they look as if they could be?

The car is my S1 CX2400 I/E Pallas, the seats were fitted when I bought it in 2006, so I don't know were they came from.

They are the higher-level non-leather trim in S2s, but I now can't remember if they appeared in S1 GTi/Turbo first. Fantastic seats, and surprisingly hard wearing too. I had a complete interior from my last CX sitting around for years.

Lots of classics, Citroen Visa, Talbot Samba, Renault 4, Renault 4 Van, Renault 12, Renault 4CV x 2 and C15 Van x7 because I like them.

We stayed the last night in a hotel in Belgium where a local Classic car club was taking a break. Opel GT, Peugeot 404, Ford Tunus 20M, Volvo 121, Beatle 1303, Alfa boat tail spider, BMW E21, BMW E30, Porsher 911, MGB x2, Triumph Spitfire and Caterham 7.

My son collected this beauty today back from service and MOT, even the cambelt was changed! He says it’s the worst thing he has ever driven, lucky he is going to Canada shortly!

First load for the C15, I know not really a load just the weeks groceries!

I filled it with diesel and was very careful to use the right pump after all my troubles with contaminated fuel, so we will see what it does mpg. I also noticed the picture by the fuel gage shows RH pump while the van is left hand fill.

I bought this 1999 E46 BMW 328i manual saloon this morning as a spares car, unfortunately the rear suspension has cracked the body mountings and is trying to pull out. Shame otherwise it drove very well with just 98800 showing on the speedo.

I need the engine for my 1996 E36 328i Sport coupe as I had HGF and then a stud broke, so I am going to transplant the engine.

The wiper arms do not look perfect.

Like yours, our own are coupes mine the E36 that I need the engine for and Mrs Cyl E46 but none are at home to check with and I have taken the 328i saloon to the garage to have the engine removed. There is no plan as to what happens to the 328i saloon when the engine is removed as yet.

First move towards getting Alfa Giulietta 2.0 back on the road, today Mrs Cyl with help from my son cleaned out a rats nest from under the rear seat and started to prepare car for its move to an Alfa specialist.

We have a new front wing. It became a non starter and a friend of the last owner had a go at fixing it…….

Any chance the reverse/fog light clusters mounted on the boot lid are available and in decent nick?

When I have taken the engine out, I will sort out what to do with the rest of it and will contact you then.

I've checked on realOEM (using a mid 99 build date) and they come up with the same part numbers as my car so I'm still interested.

I'll take a photo of mine to show what I want rid of.

When I have had the engine removed I will revisit these pages and contact those who wanted parts. I have given the car to the garage for them to remove the engine and any thing they need, so at the moment I don't have the car.

Are yours broken, or just full of moisture and mildew?

If its  damp issue then new seals and clean out would fix them.

I think the seals are about a tenner.

Lenses have gone opaque and tarnished, tried various fixes to no avail. Found a couple in a scrappy but they weren't much better unfortunately.

C15 Van

With many rust spots rubbed down and rust primed my son has hand painted some white hammerite over it to make it look tidy. Lucky for the poor lighting you cannot see the brush marks and runs!

I had a look in our Alfa Giulietta file this evening, I had forgotten it has its original service book with stamps to 47,258 miles 22-8-89, lots of MOTs 1988-1999 and some invoices. Also the last owner who is a friend had all the copy V5s from the DVLA and worked out it history. Mrs Cyl has had it 6 years now, time to get it out of the weeds!
