Six-cylinder Posted August 4, 2016 Author Posted August 4, 2016 So does m bollox And I believe one other of this parish. Yes I think there are three of us with the disease but don't worry it is not contagious because there are hardly any more in the country!
Six-cylinder Posted August 4, 2016 Author Posted August 4, 2016 I have just ordered a water pump for my Citroen LNA 1124cc, I hope it is going to be ok because the listing also says suitable for the 652cc air cooled engine as well!!! egg, anonymous user, oldcars and 1 other 4
Six-cylinder Posted August 4, 2016 Author Posted August 4, 2016 You didn't know he has a complete set of BMC 1100's. I doubt he does either. It is Triumph Heralds we are closest to a set: 1963 Herald 1200cc Coupe – blue/white 1963 Herald 1200cc Saloon – green/white 1963 Herald 12/50 Saloon - white 1968 Herald 13/60 Convertible – white 1968 Herald 13/60 Convertible – red 1970 Vitesse 2.0 MK2 Convertible – white The only one on the road is the Vitesse and the others need varying degrees of work. anonymous user and The Reverend Bluejeans 2
Bear Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 I love that coupé, like, really love it. Also I didn't know it was a '63... I wrote a little Instagram post about it right after seeing it... https://www.instagram.com/p/BIOClkLg79l/
JohnDeere Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Is this on John Deere's radar? He's pretty local to where the event is being held. If his red Pug is there with this green one and Mike's yellow one, then people's eyes really will melt! Only replying a month late - haven't been keeping up lately! It was on my radar, and I would have loved to have gone - but had visitors descending that weekend, long planned. Will aim for next year. is the green pugnose RHD?
Six-cylinder Posted August 4, 2016 Author Posted August 4, 2016 is the green pugnose RHD? The green pugnose is LHD. DVee8 and Skizzer 2

Six-cylinder Posted August 17, 2016 Author Posted August 17, 2016 I brought this home today, drives really well, I got stuck on the M25 and it never overheated at all. Needs the roof painting and the os rear wing. Bucketeer, Skizzer, Sigmund Fraud and 4 others 7

Six-cylinder Posted August 17, 2016 Author Posted August 17, 2016 So you now have both the ex Robt sov and breadvans old one too? You've cornered the market! Yes we have the Twins! I have not seen the Ex bread Sovereign yet! It is still with Milton Keynes Jag Centre, the brakes are sorted but it has some electrical gremlins for the MOT. HMC 1
RobT Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Did they wash and polish it for you Chris, as she's looking good in that pic. Worth the financial pain I hope! Six-cylinder 1
Six-cylinder Posted August 18, 2016 Author Posted August 18, 2016 Did they wash and polish it for you Chris, as she's looking good in that pic. Worth the financial pain I hope! They gave it a wash last week so she was not too bad. Can you remember when the oil was last changed? Also I can't remember what the situation was with the right hand fuel tank? I will try and get the wheels balanced to day as there is a bit of shake over 65 mph. Then the roof will need painting but we are still working on my CX at the moment.
RobT Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Oil will need doing, as will the coolant, as there's no record of when they were last done. The RH fuel tank had a leak so I drained it and bypassed the pump.
The Reverend Bluejeans Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 The Sovereign - worth any number of Deutsche Marques.
Six-cylinder Posted August 18, 2016 Author Posted August 18, 2016 Oil will need doing, as will the coolant, as there's no record of when they were last done. The RH fuel tank had a leak so I drained it and by-passed the pump. Thanks I will add that to my todo list.
Six-cylinder Posted August 19, 2016 Author Posted August 19, 2016 This evening we collected the Daimler Sovereign S1 from the Jaguar specialist who rebuilt the master cylinder and re MOTed the car fixing the non working wipers and a few bits and pieces. We even managed a petrol station picture that I have been very poor at, but no woolarding I am afraid! Skizzer, worldofceri, Coprolalia and 4 others 7

Six-cylinder Posted August 22, 2016 Author Posted August 22, 2016 Brakes fixed on my 2CV today, with new seals in the front callipers. Angrydicky, DVee8 and richardmorris 3
Six-cylinder Posted August 23, 2016 Author Posted August 23, 2016 I was not going to buy any more cars, how many times have you heard that, but I could not just ask about this one as it's a Citroen Visa GT. There are 4 GTs on Sorn and none taxed so when one, even as a bit of an unknown project came up it was no surprise that it had already been sold. I had a long chat with the owner who has other Visas and C15s including a pick up and left it that if the buyer failed to show he would call me. Last night I got the call, I could have it if I want it. So in one natural swoop almost trance like I said yes and had paid 10 minutes later. What have I bought, I am not really sure and I am going to have to wait to find out as it is in Harrrogate and I need to collect it myself to keep the cost down. Problem is my friend who has a car trailer is away with his caravan for a month. Coprolalia, worldofceri, HMC and 15 others 18
HMC Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 Mega rare!! I must admit I was aware of those full on body kitted visas (gti ?) but not the gt. Did they do a bit of stage 1 tuning to these? ShiteRider 1
Six-cylinder Posted August 23, 2016 Author Posted August 23, 2016 Mega rare!! I must admit I was aware of those full on body kitted visas (gti ?) but not the gt. Did they do a bit of stage 1 tuning to these? Yes the Chrono, it was successful in rallying. The GT was 1360cc with 80 bhp and the Chrono 93 bhp.
