Numberplate number 8 needed for my Triumph.

Just bought a 1974 Triumph 2.5 .P.I and the numberplates are the original raised black letter/numbers on yellow/white backgrounds,

the rear plate has lost its number 8 and one has been made out of insulation tape!

Where can i buy just that number to replace it

Have you tried your local DIY stores?  I'm seeing house numbers that look awfully like number plate digits used to, so you might find one that will do...

I have a large number of old plates that I am looking to part with.  I posted a few days ago, but being new to the site, I'm not sure where the post has gone.  I've attached a couple of photos.  If you are interested, let me know. I live in Canada and am not a business so you'll have to bear in mind that in mind as I might take a day or two to get the items out the door.
