I would do Llangollen as well - it's 180 miles and I can tie in a visit to my sister in Lancashire on the return trip

^^this is a mini problem for me. I would want to take a fiesta but I can't sleep in it. Can sleep in the Frontera but that's a bit boring

 

The Fiesta will be fine, just remove the passenger front, and the base of the back seat, then lay the backrest flat, and put a crate or two in the footwell. Single airbed or lilo down the passenger side, sorted!

 

 

It worked well in the BX for SF12, and the 216 at SF14. ( Used my own bed at SF13 - I hosted it )

Llangolen is only 268 miles from here. Did I miss the memo ignoring SVM rule #73 that "at least 400 miles away" is a good distance? Shitefest 1 was an 850 mile round trip for me!

I'm torn between same as last year, which was ace, and Llangollen, which also sounds good and is probably easier for other people to get to.  Can't do first 2 weeks of August, for what it's worth.

Well, the plan is for best of both worlds by heading to Devil's Bridge on the Saturday night
