That In Tua Nua Capri is fab - as is the Maestro (wasn't that on ebay recently?). And almost all the others...

Fear not, Fred. It's not a real one. DVLA have it as a VW, though it does also have a given engine size of 3.3 litres... :?

Not a ringer, but a replica. Presumably a Covin, with a proper porsche engine (rather than the usual 1200 beetle lump or 1.6 Pinto!)

Oh I get you, i didn't think the beetle chassis was the same length as the porka, and the car is hard to size in a pic.

Got any more info on this - or a clearer pic? I can't quite get the reg for the DVLA enquiry... I've only seen one other this colour.

Cheers,

Mark.

An orange GS Break is one of my all time favourite shite mobiles. If one came up at a price I could afford I'd be sorely tempted.

Lovely car, I'd really like a GS but I'll bet if thats been off the road 25 years then it will should be pretty damn rotten :(

I can see if that GS is still in the guys garden, I took that pic a couple of years ago but I think I saw it being pushed around the garden in the last few months.

The Volvo 244 - DHV....with the Vinyl roof - I used to own that car - sold it in April to a dutch collector - it was mint and I mean mint however it had the nasty 3 speed auto so not a nice car to drive

Any more info that I can pass on to the keeper of the CCC GS register would be very welcome. And I know a couple of people who'd be interested in it if the chap wanted to sell...Mark.

Some top flight pictures here! Thanks for sharing.

Can someone tell us more about this? What it is for a start...

Thanks guys! I knew it looked sort of eastern European, and I wondered what about the vent in the back bumper, because it looks deceptively normal in its proportions to be rear engined.

A mates Charger

Posted Image

Interesting.

A wee story.

Few years back I was parked down round the back of the Co-Op between Pudsey and Bradford. Noticed a glint on the ground as I was getting back into the car. Turned out to be a solid metal Charger badge - the logo off the back or side or whatever of these beautiful beasts. Always been one of my favourite muscle cars...

BUT. Tres bizarre to find one near the bins at the back of a co-op thought I.

So the obvious question is - does yer mate's one have a badge or an empty space where one should be?

Cannae be that many Chargers in Leeds area...

That's all.

Back to work everyone.

I fear there must be another badgeless Charger as he imports all of his cars himself and this was fresh off the boat a two years ago.

He's running around in this now...

What's going on? Second Ro80 spotted in '11 by shiters and we're only in to Febuary. GR12 work!

Top bombing!

Mini looks like a bent 'tax exempt' special.

Doesn't look quite right to me for a J plate. Ring-a-ding-ding?

Where is that RO80 now? I am sure it was the one on e-bay about 2 year ago, it went for under £500 (would have had it myself for that money but forgot to bid) and then turned up near a mates house in Bramley. It sat there not turning a wheel for about 3 months and then disappeared. I cant find my photos of it.

Is it actually on the road or just languishing there?

Posted

Im not sure if its sat sitting, or on the road. It was only 10mins from home though so I might go for a little drive and see if its still there.

The dodgy reg was the reason for snapping the Mini. Totally unconvinced.

I had a drive out today to see if that RO80 was still there, and sure enough it doesn't look to have turned a wheel in at least a month...

Wonder if a cheeky "please sell me your car" note under a wiper might be your key to a better, brighter future?
