Dacias equivalent to the Lada Samara, Yugo Florida or the IZh-2126 Oda, the 1320, later renamed Liberta there was a booted version; unfortunately for Dacia the introduction of the 1320 coincided with the over throw of Ceaușescu and the resulting influx of cheap western cars.

The Oda is another 'new one to me'... it looks a bit like the Moskvitch Aleko (we all know that one, it's the one that looks like an Alpine, but actually isn't one) because IZh owned them by the time the Oda was being developed; in fact the Oda replaced the Aleko in their line up. They were made for a couple of decades, the later ones had the old IZh engine (from the old Moskvitch of the '70's) replaced with the Samaras fwd engine require some major redesigning of the body work.

And the 4x4 version - handy in Russia.

Talking of the Yugo Florida/Sana. Did you know some were made under licence in Poland? No, neither did I. Apparantly the only way you can tell them apart from a Yugolsavian is the design of the bumper (and the makers plate).  There is at least two survivors, here's one of them -

Looks like there's some electrical gremlins in there

The original - note the lower grille in the bumper.

We've had some of these before - a 'Trucklet' madly popular in Syria where they convert various cars into pick-ups for tax reasons, This one is a Skoda Forman MTX, a Forman converted by MTX.

Never seen one of them before that's fo sure . Would be cool if  it was a 4x4

Wouldn't be hard to convert, the Marbella and Terra retained the old Panda's rear beam suspension so are pretty much ready to accept a Panda 4x4 back axle, rather than the later Panda's Omega axle...

Kin 'ell. Had to go onto Google search to find this thread, the search option is honestly shite here :?

Anyway. Just seen a video by 'Number 27' (Jack Pegoraro) reviewing the Maserati Kyalami:

However, one ofnthe things I noticed about this was an unmistakable passing resemblance between it and the main car of the character in the game Driver 1:

Being from the time when Maserati was owned by Citroen and would explain why I look at it and think the rear lights look familiar

Citroën SM Coupé a fascinating mixture of technology and art.
