Well knock me sideways! The wheels aren't my cup of tea but I'm so glad to see it's been given the TLC it needed so badly. Looks like it's had a respray, there's no way the on it could polish up like that.

Least it is still on the road and being taken care of. That is all that really matters I guess.

It hasn't had a respray, my phone just doesn't show the imperfections very well!

Dear oh dear. Hope he hasn't discarded those lovely dealer plates!

But yeah, at least it's still with us.

I wondered what had become of it, Shame they've ditched the original wheels, it had a full set of original trims and a pair of brand new Firestones on the front just before I sold it!

Yes I can see that paint isn't the best on closer inspection but it has polished up well considering.

Still my most ambitious collection thus far, Gary must have thought I was mental planning on getting it back from Lewes when it hadn't run for months, the bonnet was jammed shut, the battery was flat and the indicator stalk was broken. Once revived and fitted with a replacement indicator stalk it ran like clockwork on the five hour drive home though.

Very much what my age group were up to with these in the late 90's, especially with those 3 spoke rims. The 'peoples' dealer logo/badge adhesive is still on the tailgate. Stanced in a hurry?
