Mr_Bo11ox Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Can someone do me a favour by buying this off me and freeing up some space, its just passed the MOT today after a massive drive round Europe (France, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Sweden) during which it performed faultlessly. 24v Auto, black leather, CD changer, everything works, tyres are good drives perfectly. 62k, I think this is genuine but have not got a complete history to back it up. Parcel shelf is missing. Car is in Cheshire. Call me on O78OO 9O2396 for more blurb. At 300 no further shiters discount is available. Micrashed, CortinaDave, Stixy and 1 other 4
Mr_Bo11ox Posted September 9, 2014 Author Posted September 9, 2014 Ps. The aircon is shite in it dugong 1
purplebargeken Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Never had a Mondeo before. Unfortunately the lack of a further £200 is a bit of a problem. GLWTS and the usual comments.
Mr_Bo11ox Posted September 9, 2014 Author Posted September 9, 2014 Yes, but no PX's on this i'm afraid, just need to exchange it for the space its currently occupying.
Mr_Bo11ox Posted September 9, 2014 Author Posted September 9, 2014 BUMP, this place aint what it used to be guys, I have scrapped it now, your mum, etc etc. This car does about 28mpg in normal use and can be coaxed up to a max of about 32 on a long run if you place a quail's egg between the sole of your shoe and the accelerator pedal Louise2cv and Cavcraft 2
RobT Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Wot no gaffered up rear bumper? Looks well smart on those wheels. Good luck etc.
Vince70 Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 It looks like a really nice car and mk2 mondeo's are getting a rarity on the roads these days, it even looks rust free around the rear arches etc and a very late one to boot. But I'm in the same boat yourself as I have too many cars and not enough room but that's one serious bargain of a car.
Mr_Bo11ox Posted September 10, 2014 Author Posted September 10, 2014 Yes, rear arches are rot free, it had a repair to the OS sill last year, but I chopped out the rust and welded a new section in so no problems there. No other rust or rot to speak of. Engine bay is super clean and unmolested. I will get some more pics tonight.
Grundig Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Sir ... I haven't got a Quails egg, so could I get similar MPG with a black-necked grebe's egg between the sole of my shoe and the accelerator pedal? - just askin like Partridge 1
Partridge Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Have you tried nailing your penis to the throttle?
Mr_Bo11ox Posted September 10, 2014 Author Posted September 10, 2014 Seriously Partridge man, you really need to get some other material to fit between all the references to knobs, cocks, penises, etc. Bobthebeard, Cavcraft, Louise2cv and 4 others 7
Mr_Bo11ox Posted September 10, 2014 Author Posted September 10, 2014 This car has got 3/4 of a tank of juice in it!!! I tried to siphon some out but failed. So the buyer will have to chip in for it, I suggest £25.
Mr Lobster Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 This car has got 3/4 of a tank of juice in it!!! I tried to siphon some out but failed. So the buyer will have to chip in for it, I suggest £25. Can you not just disconnect the tank return pipe and run the engine? That was standard protocol (though not exactly H&S friendly when I worked for Ford back when these were new. You could on all the other petrol engined models but I can't remember on the V6. Anyway, that looks ace and a proper bargain. Really like these however I have no use whatsoever for it nor anywhere to stick it so GLWS and all that.
EssDeeWon Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 I would say Mr Bo11 is already doing the best thing and offering the pez for £25. Anyone who quibbles with that I'd rather not sell a car too. This is the first and only time ive ever looked twice at a Mondeo ad.

philibusmo Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 I would love to buy that from you, but I don't have the space or money, you're too far away and I don't like automatics, silver cars or Ford Mondeos in any form really. Cavcraft 1
Partridge Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Seriously Partridge man, you really need to get some other material to fit between all the references to knobs, cocks, penises, etc.Says the man known as "Mr Bollocks" You could try nailing it to a swan?
Bobthebeard Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Says the man known as "Mr Bollocks" You could try nailing it to a swan?Eh? Errrr..... What has a Mondeo got to do with swans....?
Partridge Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Gluing one to the pedal would reduce fuel consumption, more than the egg of a black-necked grebe that's for sure.
CortinaDave Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 I would buy it if etc..... Looks a proper bargain.
406V6 Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Everyone should own a V6 at least once in their life
drum Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 If only this wasn't a ford mondeo etc... Useless post # 24
andy18s Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 If only I could move the T5 on but that has just started some "interesting" dashboard issues.....
Micrashed Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 This be a bargain, its a shame its not Focus sized as its really just a bit big for me ( and other unhelpful phrases). GLWTS
Mr_Bo11ox Posted September 11, 2014 Author Posted September 11, 2014 This car has got tax till end of November, and I may be wrong but I think if the car changes hands during September I can leave the tax on in exchange for its weigh-in value (30 quid) So for £355 plus a train ticket (even the cost of the drive home is included in the price!) you could have this on your driveway with a couple of months breathing space before you have to shell out on taxing it. If that’s not Reginald_Nutsack TRIPPLE_VALU I don’t know what is, plus we’re not talking about some tired out crock of shit here, this is actually a flipping GREAT CAR. cms206 1
stuboy Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 If mine fill up failure sheet next months mot I may be interested
Micrashed Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Arr, Micrashed MOT of Doooooom is October 20th
