Sadly, they'll just pin the blame on the obviously odd or creepy, who may or may not have been involved.

Feeling a fool for having been invited into The Club and been taken for a ride, hiding sensitive information and so on - and now having been made a fool of by the younger generation, Daimler has a word with SM (who had been at the mercy of some mad Frenchmen who liked Italians with many cylinders). Fortunately her life wasn't ruined like Bijou's and she had managed to use her fine abilities and beauty to rise into the aristocracy herself - but the glamorous old lady still had a picture she wanted to use against the corrupt elements of the ruling elite, who considered themselves untouchable.

P5s were shocked - they were of relatively lowly origin but had always been treated well by the establishment. Some of their siblings were upset at the furore it may cause.

 

 

"Mmmm", they muttered - they all looked concerned. One mentioned it to a young cousin,

 

 

... who knew all about the seamy underside of the wealthy and powerful. Being a little jittery, the young cousin happened to let on to a stiff old uncle what was planned, at a party. Now this uncle was rather an odd sort himself, having been interfered with rather too often by Nanny and having been in the Navy, and felt he ought to tell.

 

 

 

Word got to the wrong ears and more low-grade offenders were seen to be ticked off, to please the masses, who would be angry at any hint of a big cover-up.

 

 

They massed together in protest,
