SavvyPic! pah!!

1. no horse

2. no thumb

3. no Talbot

Good stringer, mind 'nothing comes easy - but who wants nothing?'

TS

1. Orders Horse, skins and re-upholsters leather seats

2. Procures "lucky thumb" for all further shots

3. I'm still only trainee shyters- got the xm/cx/montego stages to pass first

is that the 200 quid one laquer peel posted on the for sale thread? Manual 7 series are as rare as unicorns testicles

its the £100 one. and yes, bolleux de unicorn are present and correct

At £100 (!) I was tempted myself, let us know what it's like.

I'd clocked it jsut before you'd posted it, so I was out the office and on the blower like an addict after his dealer

Was this for sale at £100? I didn't see it??

just as well. I'd hate to inflict it on thee;)

Love these - last of the great 7 series!

This is my third one, all bought with mot/tax or sub £150. This is the best one so far

Excellent! Needs a pez station shot though

Smooth move, that looks like class.

Cheers! Its apparently had 2x new wings, and the bodywork seems really good- certainly a good polish should have it tip top

Class, best looking beemer there is, IMO. Right on it for the 80's.

ts pretty much as thuggish as you can get for a ton, only an xj40 is there or there abouts, and as spiny norman will attest, they are hella expensive compared to this;

There'll be plenty of opportunities.

Believe me, there certainly will.

had 1/2 a tank, did 215 miles before light on, and £20 at 1.299 got it back to 1/4 tank

cant be any heavier than an auto;) OBC reckoned 27.7 mpg or there abouts- cruising at the appropriate limits

Needs more drift king action.

Lovely buy, a proper 'oh look what the posh bloke bought, I bet he's loaded' car

i have a 3.91 LSD lying about, so could driftyo it nae bother. Think its a bit pretty for that though

That's got to be the bargain of the year so far, must be worth more than a ton as scrap if it all goes bang?

Really like these old 7s, the 3.5 is probably the best engine choice too.

I'd reckon on 200 for scrap..

the m30 is a lovely thing, ad more than adequate in 3.5 flavour

Crazy cheap. Well bought. Makes my £200 maestro seem a total rip off.

I'm sure you'll survive- console yourself with more than 14mpg round town..

what's the story, why did they decide to sell it so cheap?

No Idea.. Owner now has an e46 318i touring.  thought it was rude to ask..

Awesome. I had a manual e32 735, was a cracking big bus

Agreed- totally different to an auto- much less lazy, and a bit more sprightly

In best * bullseye tradition, let's take a look at what you could have won..

Only some superficial rust and a small dent in passenger front wing to note oh and the boot doesn't stay up.

Electrically it's just the central locking and the air con that needs some work

That looks a total bargain.

Cheers.

I reckon the bluetooth/usb/mp3 head unit is worth the purchase price alone..

Can't believe you got that so cheap, that's a right result chap. :)  Looks like a really nice car and those 7s are lovely things to waft around in... and they can lift their skirts and run with the best when the mood takes over!

I was in Inverness last weekend and only saw the link to this after I'd got back. I'd have been all over that like a tramp eating mince if I'd seen it when I was up there!

The 7 series in one classy cruiser!

Indeed, but this one had a 'touch of the Zil" about it. Proper threatening

Posted

At least it does'nt have those shite chrome arches.

For that money you can endure the painful fuel economy.

A Handsome car. I also think the E32 is one of the best looking BMW saloons they've made. For me their only rival is the E3. The E3 has more class, but the E32 matches it with swagger.

The executive was spoilt for choice in the Eighties. An XJ40, a Mercedes W126 or an E32. They were all fully interesting, good looking cars - and all with a markedly different emphasis.

What a bargain too!

What a deal . A colossal amount of car for the money.

Funny to think of that car vs a mk2 ford escort...

Back in 1989 one was worth £100 and the other £30000.

Fast forward to 2014 and the same two cars and they've fully switched places in the value stakes.

Fashion is a very strange thing

Well, the 735 is proving itself useful as an OMGBARNFYND support vehicle.

The boot is more than adequate for carrying 5l of petrol plus a socket set.

The 535i e34 started first turn of the key and dragged itself out the garage. Tis manual with an lsd

Much tyre pumping later we ran it fore and aft to clean off the brakes.it will get loaded tomorrow to be hauled back to the unit.

That 535 is stunning! I love e34s!

It's a genewine 535i sport manual. Comes with a 3.64 lsd as standard, and I have a 3.91 lsd in stock. its used as a track car when we can afford the 120 to fill the tank.

she is on 265k and was rolling roaded at 201bhp and 211 ftlb..not too bad as was 211bhp new.

In other news, the 735 is asking "oi cahhnt, did you spill my pint? "

My old one. Was bought off driftworks so funnily enough I had to replace every bush on the fucker. Drove realy well though, so chuckable for a big barge. And the exhaust was very cheap before you ask....

A nice looking brief. . This one could do with a right clean and some exhaust work to quieten it down-tis currently most undignified..

Very classy......these are lovely.......

Thanks. It feels significantly more solid than my dad's e60..
