Evening chaps,

Does anyone else fancy going along to this? I've booked the Maestro in, it sounds quite good and as I can't make P'boro I have to get my yearly dose of BL crud somehow! It is a fairly new show, but it looks like the turnout will be quite good.

Tempted. Bit of a distance from Bath though. Are there any spares stands? I really need an old radio

I might be able to pop along for a few hours as will be in the Midlands this weekend. Depends if I can excuse myself from in-law visiting duties.

I'll be in Tukey then trying to impress a bird :(

Might be 'doing' this as I don't think I'll get to Peterborough either.  I'm hoping there'll be some autojumble as I could do with some brass nuts.

I asked about that on the MMOC Seth. Sadly it sounds like there won't be much, perhaps the odd trader selling Mini guff.

Yep, for once it didn't rain all day.  Pretty good turnout too - everything from a '20s Rover (which I passed on the A47 on the way home - he was doing about 35) to a 14-plate MG3, which didn't look as shit in the metal as I was expecting, although the quality of some of the interior trim didn't look that brilliant.  Bumped into Trigger amongst the Marinas.  Took quite a lot of photos, which I'll upload at some point when I'm less knackered.  If I could have taken one vehicle home with me (not counting the DS21 in the car park), it would've been the 7-tonne FG beavertail lorry - biggest threepenny bit I'd ever seen, and in lovely condition too.

What a fantastic show, I went along with a few mates and we had a great laugh, I was asked to park on the ARonline stand which might have been a mistake as most of the cars were new stuff, my Acclaim got hidden up my a new MG3 and no one spoke to me even though I tried talking to them, fuck em.

Other than that and the Marina/Ital club stand which had FAR to many cars on it meaning they are all squashed in so you couldn't see them clearly yet there was loads of space on the field field I thought the show was well set out.

It will be back in the diary for next year. Craig - i didn't know you was there in your cars or I'd had said hello, I did photograph your Allegro though. I'll post the rest of my photos tomorrow hopefully.

I quite liked the MG3 (for a modern car) but next to the Acclaim shows where car design has gone wrong.

Ditto trig, I think I saw you at one point but it was a total guess and I was 95% sure I'd start talking to someone and looking like a total loon :-D
