Angrydicky Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Evening chaps, Does anyone else fancy going along to this? I've booked the Maestro in, it sounds quite good and as I can't make P'boro I have to get my yearly dose of BL crud somehow! It is a fairly new show, but it looks like the turnout will be quite good.
Leyland Lawrence Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Tempted. Bit of a distance from Bath though. Are there any spares stands? I really need an old radio
dollywobbler Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 At the moment, I'm planning to be there in the Maestro van of win. Angrydicky 1
Junkman Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 At Gaydon, I'd be committing manslaughter in the heat of passion, I'm afraid.
RobT Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 I might be able to pop along for a few hours as will be in the Midlands this weekend. Depends if I can excuse myself from in-law visiting duties. Angrydicky 1
Lord Sterling Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 I'll be in Tukey then trying to impress a bird Angrydicky and Junkman 2
Junkman Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I'll be in Tukey then trying to impress a bird Now that's a valid excuse for a change.
seth Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Might be 'doing' this as I don't think I'll get to Peterborough either. I'm hoping there'll be some autojumble as I could do with some brass nuts.
dollywobbler Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 I asked about that on the MMOC Seth. Sadly it sounds like there won't be much, perhaps the odd trader selling Mini guff.

wuvvum Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Yep, for once it didn't rain all day. Pretty good turnout too - everything from a '20s Rover (which I passed on the A47 on the way home - he was doing about 35) to a 14-plate MG3, which didn't look as shit in the metal as I was expecting, although the quality of some of the interior trim didn't look that brilliant. Bumped into Trigger amongst the Marinas. Took quite a lot of photos, which I'll upload at some point when I'm less knackered. If I could have taken one vehicle home with me (not counting the DS21 in the car park), it would've been the 7-tonne FG beavertail lorry - biggest threepenny bit I'd ever seen, and in lovely condition too.
trigger Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 What a fantastic show, I went along with a few mates and we had a great laugh, I was asked to park on the ARonline stand which might have been a mistake as most of the cars were new stuff, my Acclaim got hidden up my a new MG3 and no one spoke to me even though I tried talking to them, fuck em. Other than that and the Marina/Ital club stand which had FAR to many cars on it meaning they are all squashed in so you couldn't see them clearly yet there was loads of space on the field field I thought the show was well set out. It will be back in the diary for next year. Craig - i didn't know you was there in your cars or I'd had said hello, I did photograph your Allegro though. I'll post the rest of my photos tomorrow hopefully. anonymous user 1
Partridge Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Fucked off I missed this...had family bollocks to attend to.
Billy - Medhurst Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 If I could have taken one vehicle home with me (not counting the DS21 in the car park), Craig the Princess and anonymous user 2

Ditto trig, I think I saw you at one point but it was a total guess and I was 95% sure I'd start talking to someone and looking like a total loon

dollywobbler Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Oi! Wrong thread! This one was for the Gaydon meet. Get yer own bleedin' thread! trigger 1
