Trafic Incontinence...a story from Renault van Failure

I is looking for the best  way -- max money fromage money --  to dispose of 1997 Renner Trafic T900 2.1D. Failed MOT yesterday and in a fit of incontinence and  Joie de Vivre relieved its self of coolant outside the MOT station.  As I CBA to do the repairs it has to go.

Which are the best scrappy interwebs sites to try?

Does anyone here want it for £175?  Has a noisy diff and rad fans are borked but doesn’t seem to overheat when doing a couple of miles just when the bollocks are thrashed out of it for the obligatory  MOT smoke test.  May include a fine selection of bodywork dents.

Wow, that is some fantastic commercial shite, I'm assuming you are near Guildford, which is a bit far for me to go for an unnecessary french chodbox.

it'd not take much for a fresh ticket though.

15 minutes with some penetrating spray, a bit of pissing about and a £20 tyre and it's tested. You'd be mad not to do it.

I would usually fix it but I urgently need to go here  ...39.862492, -8.425952 in a 106 diesel with a moped in the boot and have just lost my 2nd garage so have to get rid of stuff and this is the one remaining big thingie with no where to keep it.   It has not been used for 4 years so it's reliability is unknown, the ex-owner stopped usung it when he bought an unseen house via the interwebs on Magnet Island Oz and is now a Scuba Instructor

What is a rear headlamp?

Maybe the tester thought it was an Italian tank, not a French one?

This old workhorse is a bargain at that price, and I can confirm that Mr.Castro is a most knowledgeable and trustworthy gentleman ! BUY WITH CONFIDENCE

I drove one of these recently, a long wheel base high top. I confirm it was utterly miserable in every conceivable way. Buy with confidence!

I have some multipla seats that would bolt into this to make OMGPPLCARRIR

It looks delightfully dreadful.

You used halfords for an mot?

That light could be pass an advise but can't tell without touching it

Put the spare wheel on which saves you buying a tyre

That would make a cheap start to a AS camper! If I was closer I would have it.

EDIT:  Is it in Guildford? Is it drivable at all say 10 miles? My mum live in West London and I wonder if I could sling it up hers for now.

He's used the wrong reason for refusal for the light.  There's different criteria for assessing security of headlamps and rear lamps, if there's any movement in a headlamp it's a fail as it can cause the beam to become unsteady, with a rear lamp you can have movement as long as it's not likely to fall off.

On the subject of MoT pedantry, was he supposed to fail for a non-opening cargo door ? The van has no rear seat, so I really can't see why it matters !
