Possibly a Volkswagen K70 left approaching the camera. Also quite a few Beetles and a Mercedes Fintail in the car park.

Yes you are probably right - introduced 1974. That would  be a rare find in the US.

Reviewed here in 'Road and Track' in 1975. I did not know they went into the US.

The US versions had bigger bumpers and rear marker lights were the Euro versions had the engine/model badge.

Car enthusiast alert - there are both a P4  (with roof rack) and an MG Magnette MK2  - a fair chance the robust old P4 survives - the Magnette less so - rusty door bottoms are visible even in this shot!

Couple of interesting Fiat's (?) too.

I think that's Sheffield - the iconic cooling towers have been demolished not so long ago.

Yes, the Tinsley Towers. It seems to me that Sheffield had quite a few interesting landmarks that are now gone (for better or worse). These towers, the massive Hyde Park flats, a roundabout with a hole in it...

It's looking from Rotherham towards Sheffield.

Could be a Fiat 131 or an older 124 saloon.  It's definitely not  a VW K70 since those were never sold in the USA.

Another possibility is a Datsun 510...
